Really, was that the big problem with selling Star Wars Kinect, people needed a chance to play it, and that by playing it, it would seal the deal. Once you hear you can dance with Han Solo, every one above the age of 5 should walk away.
Its just poor planning. Same thing with trophies as a last minute copy of achievements. It doesn't make any sense that you should need to self sync these things. Hopefully they'll get it right next time.

No, Madden is fare more tiring. At least with COD, there has to be a new story no matter how crappy it is.
This is why I skip a year with Call of Duty. It prevents fatigue in the repetitive design of the game. Repetition is fine, that's how we have genres of games, but to have it every year is just too much to ignore.
