StarCraft II Director: "We're trying to create an e-Sport, however, we have failed, seeing as we leave out LAN support."
Adding a sub controller to Kinect defeats the purpose of Kinect.
"You are the controller, however, you must use a sub controller."
It's time for Microsoft to swallow their pride and admit that they were wrong and Sony was right, and just go copy Wiimote, since copying a high quality hardware like the Playstation Move might be problematic for a software company like Microsoft.
Kinect is a slightly different approach (using 3D camera instead of 2D), but the result is still the same.
On rail-shooters, scripted QTE gesture-based games, and dancing games.
"It's an experience."
My kind of game.
LOL. All those donations going to waste.
How about donating some of those money to hardworking developers instead? Geeze.
Hacker: "I am poor, so I can't afford to buy a game for $60. What's that? Geo needs money? Here you go, Geo, take this $1000 in donations for a legal battle that you will most likely lose."
With all those money the donated to Geo, they could have actually buy some real games with it.
"Could this be... and omen?!" - Citan
Mostly because of...
- No jump
- Co-op got removed
- Gimicky gameplay
- Has that aweful Unreal Tournament/Engine looks to it
It's all talk and no show.
"Kinect, so revolutionary."
And yet, there's really nothing to show off Kinect's supposed revolutionary features.
You look around and all you see is...
- On-rail games
- Scripted QTE gesture-based game
- Dancing games.
There's nothing revolutionary about on-rail games and dancing games. That's actually a step backward.
You're right. Sony needs to give up gaming. Sony needs to stop making games and go work with the hackers to make sure OtherOS work on the PS3. OtherOs is a very important feature.
With OtherOS, you can install Linux on the PS3, something that you can already do on your PC. It's like, having two Linux-es.
Doesn't Sony realize that working with hackers on OtherOS is more awesome than making games for the PS3?
Seriously, it's...
Wada: "If only I could understand what gamers want... Oh hey, look, a check from Microsoft! Anyway, what was I saying?"
So... PC gaming will be undead in 2011 then?
Kinect will never work with FPS.
Controller, Move, and Mouse/Keyboards are the best inputs available right now and they are not going to be replace anytime soon, meanwhile Kinect, due to its limitations, will just be forgotten.
Waiting for the Final Input: The Holodeck.
Dude, don't mess with MARKUS_MAX1MUS. He's so cool, he has to constantly tell the whole world how cool he is and how uncool you are. LOL.
Psst. When he asked why we're laughing at him, remember to lie to him that we're only laughing WITH him, and not AT him. LOL.
this is the game for it. This and Motorstorm Apocalypse.
But Halo Reach is not a console.
Dude, with those numbers, you're just proving out points again.
All those millions of stupid gullible soccer moms and fat people who thinks they can lose weight by playing video games, instead of hitting the gym.
"But it does prove that most naysayers are Ps3 fanboys who have NEVER even tried it and only hate it because it wasn't made by Lord Sony"
Nah. Most naysayers hate Kinect because it's inaccurate, glitchy, laggy,...
Google is very happy about it.
Microsoft, not so much.
"Microsoft lost Kinect's exclusivity. Kinect spotted running on Google's Android."
"Kinect on the other hand is it own true experience."
I can play rail-shooters, QTE gesture-based games, and dancing games already, and without Kinect. So how is Kinect unique and revolutionary again? Kinect doesn't add anything to the game. Kinect only dumb down the game.
"...now look at Forza 4 about integrate headtracking in to a racing game..."
But GT5 can do that already, way before Forza 4, and without Kinect....
