This is about putting more money in developers hands, the more money they make the bigger there budgets.
This is also a way for them to combat piracy which is rampant on all systems. The wii u as been cracked and wont be long before the games get pirated. also these console are more like steam for the pc which is one game per acount.

At the end of the day its about games and microsoft said they have 15 exclusives to show at e3 or announce, Microsoft did say that they were going to show of the console and features and show the games of properly at e3. And people going high rate about one game per console isn't that exactly the same as steam?
This is a console version of steam, this will not effect me but game developers are struggling and this is a way to help them out, just think the more money the developer makes better budgets they get to make new games..
