As long as there isn't any cheesy brother re-union plot arc, I'll be happy to see Demos feature in GoS.
It always depends on the games and the gamers as to whether a re-design spells bad news or not. A perfect example is the Prince of Persia; despite being a huge fans of the original PoPs, the Nolan-voiced, hand-drawn PoP was still great and is to this day one of my favourite games of all time.
I think I am one of the few people who really disliked the Devil May Cry series. Here's to hoping Ninja Theory can make a successful break from the monotous hack and slashing.
I'm not a big fan of having Filena too. Though she adds a nice little gameplay element, it feels as though KOEI Tecmo just decided to throw in some eye candy.
I think that even if this had been released before Gears of War, it still wouldn't have received favourable reviews. Sure, it would have been Gears to the punch in terms of flaunting the "snap-on" cover mechanics, but the rest of the game just doesn't hold up.
Ideally, I would like to see every character featured in the previous DW games. It's a big wish, but I have a feeling KOEI are going to try and pack as much into DW7 as possible. They could even cram Empires and Xtreme Legends into the bundle?
Good find. Really liking Xiahou's new look, though I hope they give him his Scimitar back instead of that douchebag steel rod.
Agreed, and it's not just first person shooters which are getting stale. Quantum Theory is standing evidence of the TPS genre beginning to rust.
Agreed. I still haven't beaten the first Portal, but this still looks like a must have.
True, it is definitely still embedded in our PS3 controllers, but is it a tool developers are continuing to use?
This will be hard for the 360 fanboys out there to swallow. Kudos to Sony though, GT 5 and PlayStation Move were my personal highlights too.
Rubbish? It's one of the few articles on N4G which is actually intelectually composed, and solely fact-based.
This thread isn't aimed at fuelling the flame war. If only people actually read the content put before them instead of assuming they know what the article is about.
There may have been 800, but most players wouldn't have dug around for them as much as the most vested ME fans. I can only remember a few myself, with Wrex and the news reporter being highlights.
Some great points, BPV.
Having played and thoroughly enjoyed both Mass Effect games, I think its departure to the PlayStation 3 is great simply because EVERYONE now gets to experience this game.
I will most likely pick it up for the PS3 (having borrowed it for the 360) simply to bag me the DLC without having to pay for it on XBL.
Call me a n00b, but I always find the old MKs a little too hard for my liking. However, for twenty quid, this is one I wont be able to pass up.
Was going to pick up L4D soon and actually try and invest myself in the series. How the hell did this spoiler-ridden piece of trash get past the approval system?
No one is going to be a perfect match for the role of Sheppard when he debuts on the big screen. If I personally had to choose, due to Lost being one of the most inspiring spectacles of television this decade, it would be Fox without a second's hesitation.
That's always been thought, the UK sometimes get exclusive betas and the such.
The demo for GoS was impressive, though I doubt it can top GoW2. For me, GoW3 was a disappointment due to the lacklustre ending, so hopefully this will make me forgive Kratos.
