Do you get Extraction ONLY on the Collector's Edition? I thought every game came with it (as in every game was the Limited Edition)

I actually would have preferred Mario like controls, which are precise and don't lose the challenge. LBP controls are challenging because you have to get used to them, and it's not supposed to be like that.

I just got tis game, and I have to say, although a great game, I am really disappointed they didn't fix the way sackboy jump, and the grappling hook just sucks. You can't swing and it keeps getting longer or smaller every time you move the sticks. I hate that this amazing game have very broken controls.
Actually it sounds more logical to have FF13-2 multiplatform, since 13 was and having versus 13 exclusive as it was promised.

If you analize 360 exclusives, they give better (or the same) score to the exclusives. Halo is a good example. How much it has improved since Halo 3. Has it has improvements? Yes, but LBP 2 had way more, the same goes for Gears of Wars, Forza, Fable, etc.

Alpha thanks for the pictures. I was very eager to know how the Collector's edition was. I actually don't like the plushie at all. I cancelled my collector's edition for LBP because I could only get one, so i decided to go with Dead Space.
IMO, I think I made the right decision. I think Dead Space Extraction and the Pistol (name?) looks way better and are better value than "alien" sackboy plushie and the Bookends. But that's just me.

Why the hell would GameInformer write that in the review, and why the hell would Metacritic put that in the quotes? That's a HUGE Spoiler (well, it is expected to be a 3rd judging from the success of the franchise) but at least let players discover it when they get the game.

actually he did. He was the one who started the buzz of including kratos when talking to the devs. They thought it was a good idea and did it.

I'm not a fan of FPS, but I would like that Killzone gets the commercial success it deserves. Maybe not as much as COD or Halo, but at least like Uncharted 2.
I played K2 and I was really impressed, and Killzone 3 is improving too much from K2. Is getting a better single player, they have added Co-op as it was requested, the story looks way better, and the multplayer is getting an improvement too.
I'm in the same boat as you TLG. I want it so bad, but at the same time I prefer to buy other games. The only collector's edition I'm buying is Dead Space 2 for the Wii game, and I think it is "better" value that havinga helmet, which as awesome as it is, it will just stand there useless by nex year. (In my case, because I move alot)
Noticed Final Fantasy Versus XIII is missing... That could only mean two things:
1) Is not coming 2011
2) Is not exclusive anymore

In my opinion, the better question would be which of those 8 mil kinects are actually being connected to a 360 and used for gaming instead of hacking and science experiments?
I think LBP create mode is being a little affected from what I like to call "Wii Effect". Everyone this gen is expecting every game to be accessible even to the dog of the family, so having a create mode this deep and complex is something "against" it, whereas last gen would have been praised for that complexity.
Reviewers this gen approach the games asking this question: Can it be played by my grandmother? and I think that the success of the Wii caused it...
It's going to be the same with Dead Space reviews and then Killzone 3 reviews, and so on for every major game comming out, which in this year, are a LOT!
Let's suppose the NGP controls are successful because games utilize the rear touch screen in imaginative and innovating ways.
Would you like a Daulshock (4) to have a rear touch panel somehow to be replicated in home consoles (maybe for ps4)?
