I LOVE skyrim ...but the colour pallet is really wanting .

I can not imagine that the scenery artists at Bethesda had to use dirty-old-greys for over 80 percent of Skyrim because >>>> soft greens , Purple and orange tints , might use too much disk space . This is simply an area that they have typically suffered for in all their games . They pulled off the wasteland in Fallout Brilliantly for obvious reasons.

at a thousand + dollars now to play PS3 ( and yet another YLOD the other day ) ,

Everyone raving about the graphics .
I love this game more than anyone but ....... come on people .

The color is a total missed opportunity
and the animations are thick and clumpy .

Why fight over the graphics . It really must be
about game play .

OH GOOD ...... wait all year for this adventure and then let someone else tell you all the secrets before your copy even arrives in the mail . The person that sends this article out is bad ..... the person the needs / reads is in even worse shape .

I should add that I do not mind the fact that the environments are toned down and I certainly would not wish to see them lit up like a Christmas tree . I believe that Bethesda wants the player and its creatures and NPCs to stand out against this grey ground and on this level they are successful but in a toned down pallet there is a very wide range of choices for gentle color . ..... more than just a flat looking grey ..... etc.

I played Oblivion and really enjoyed it .... it was a good looking game especially at the time it was realized and I am guessing that Skyrim will look even better than Oblivion . . . but having just finished Uncharted 3 and the richness of those environments . This game blew my socks off.......
I mean with such force they flew halfway around the world and
landed in a cocktail bar for a smart glass of champagne .

I think the graphics are good and I have pre-ordered the game .
But Imagine this fantasy world under the artistic guidance
of the developer that created the Uncharted Series .

That would blow my socks off.

I am still trying to figure out why that reviewer of the other day gave it a 4 , I read his review and it is smart and articulate but he really hates this game . ....... I am glad not to share his world or I should be missing out on one of the years best . .........

I really wanted to love GTA lV but just got board eventually . My game collection is huge and I put San Andreas in every week to play even now . ( oh the the hours I have sunk into that world ) That game has so many interesting and entertaining things to keep one from ever getting bord , uninterested .

My first real wish after seeing the trailer was to imagine the entire state reinvented , Buzzz
