You are right, 100%. There is NO pc/laptop to be found where i live for €300 that can do the HD entertainment the ps3 can do. I think the cheapest PC with a blu-ray player build in is something like €1200. And you'll find that doesnt come in a nice sleek unit to sit under my plasma.
Anyone notice the next gen cell graphic in the timeline, 2PPE's, 32 SPE's, how awesome would that be in PS4.
Just because the games has more sales on the 360 doesnt mean much to Rockstar, they make more of each ps3 sale than 360 because M$ being greed basterds have a set charge from each game. Sony and nintendo dont cost as much.

Yes but they weren't upgrading the power of the machine just the user ability of it. This is saying its a processor upgrade which doesnt make sense for the ps3, the 8 core cell is more than enough power, its the gpu and ram that limiting the ps3.
It has been rumoured that the psp2 uses a 4 core cell so id say is something got to do with the psp2 or something completely different.
PS3 can already play against pc players. its up to the dev. Im thinking valve will support this with steamworks coming.

You do no it takes 6 months to render a premium car? The 800 standard cars were probably the quickest thing PD did in GT5, doing the premium cars and the environment is where the time went.
I have cod4, mw2 and black ops and while its 99% just a coincidence that someones PS3 died while black ops is in, i have noticed that All COD games use the disc reader far more than any other game. dont know why but it cant be good to have the laser scanning the disc every second.
