I would much rather have my game run at 900p and stay at a solid 60 than to force it up to 1080 and have tearing and frame rate drops any day.
As an avid xbox fan I KNOW that the ps4 is just flatout better when it comes to raw power. Its simple math. I do not really care about people nitpicking over a 180p difference as games look great on both consoles.

The new tomb raider will be a great game. Crystal dynamics is building on their reboot and I see it hard to go from a great game to a shit game as long as the core mechanics and feel of the game are not drastically changed. Uncharted 4 will also be a great game but at the end of the day it's just another sequel with a next-gen coat of paint on it

While plenty of people enjoy their xbox one (myself included) NOBODY was happy when they bought their jaguar. Its game library was horrible. the controller was overcomplicated and its lifespan was all of a few years.

This game has Redbox written all over it. Ill gladly a couple bucks to play as Rambo for a day or two. Redbox is perfect for getting to play terrible games like DNF or A:CM. Its a lot easier to look past the poor quality of a game when you aren't paying full retail price.
Console transition is a key factor in people not preordering. Lets talk crap about how stale cod is and not realize battlefield is just the same but with a slightly prettier engine

To all of you posting how much better these ps4 games look im having a hard time considering how ridiculously over the top the bloom effect is in these screenshots. You guys realize that alot of games use this to hide and cover up jaggies and crappy textures right?
Im looking forward to both but the x1 is going to be my first purchase. seeing as the ps4 will be a hundred dollars less more parents will buy it for their little snot nosed kids who want to play call of duty all day.
