I work in tech and I don't understand the point of the metaverse. I love VR but this integration of VR and Augmented reality and a weird "Web 3.0" shift doesn't feel like a natural progression to me, more like an attempt by big tech to push its vision on everyone. I early adopted VR and Gaming and Tech in general but I'm very much on the out when it comes to this move.
Lol. That is a 100% accurate statement.
And all my childhood memories come flooding back. I don't know if I should be excited or terrified for this. LOL.
It's a fun game that I agree deserves a full remake.
The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is smooth to the point that I didn't even pay much attention to the prologue at first. It's an added bonus IMHO that they have provided a nice drop-in point for setting everything up but at the end of the day, it's the sheer beauty of this game that is going to keep me drawn in. It feels vast but remains smooth for gameplay throughout.
My gaming PC was $4600. Tell me more about your expensive PS5 ;)
As a 41-year-old gamer, everything feels "new-ish" to me these days.
That would have been a great addition. I really like the Vikings/Norse gods games in general because of the very specific ambiance they offer.
That was Jake's main sticking point in the review too. It has given him "hope" for better things to come. I agree, there is at least some real hope for the first time in a long time when it comes to the Pokemon franchise.
