The closest I've seen this is when they broadcast it in HD on TNT network which even that looks amazing. But god on blu-ray i cant even imagine how badass that'll be. Hopefully there'll be even more extended/deleted scenes and make the movies be like 12 hours total lol.

I don't believe for a second the final fantasy series will ever get "worn-out". Some of the games out there today I'll pick up, play for about 2 hours and I myself get worn out and tired of it i.e. Halo. I think me and my friends still have more fun with Goldeneye than we have had with the Halo series. But any Final Fantasy that's out there now I can play and not get "worn-out" from it.
Graphics purely amazing i thought. The story was good, but not great. I just never saw the connnections between the lead, "Vaan", and the antagonist, "Vayne", unlike Titus - Jecht/Sin or Cloud - Sephiroth. I loved the side quests such as the Mark Hunting. Yiazmat friggin epic lol. Good game, but character development could have been better.
If the 360s hits continue to be multi-platform games. According to vgchartz GTA IV, CoD4, and Ironman are the top 3 for 360 and all are multi platform. Yeah 360 may be beating sony as far as those games are concerned, but none of those, IMO are going to make PS3 owners go out and buy a 360 for GTA IV add ons. I don't even see Gears of War 2 being a platform seller if you haven't played the first one, though I'm greatly looking forward to the sequal. It'll need a few pretty darn good exclussiv...
Titus in X was good but at times he did annoy me. Vaan in XII honestly didn't appeal to me that well. He just seemed to be a side-kick guy. I thought either Balthiere or Ashe would have made for a better lead. XIII and versus have pretty interesting leads so yeah I can see those 2 making SE some nice bucks.
If I remember correctly, SE said FFVII would be remade if certain requirements were met. Maybe this profit loss is one of the requirements. I'm 100% sure that would be a big boost to their profits in U.S. Europe, and elsewhere.
Right before Advent Children Complete was released, the old school FF7 was on sell in the Japan PSN Store. More than likely, it will be on the U.S. PSN Store (No confirmation on that yet though) and would, in my opinion, boost sales of the U.S. version of Advent Children Complete when it is released.
So, if the old school one is released,and you think that remaking the original with new graphics, extras, etc... would ruin what FFVII is/was, then get the old school one. Problem solved ...
