I used to be in the same boat as most here, but then I came to realize that the DLC is there IF YOU WANT IT, NOT BECAUSE YOU NEED IT. They give you an option. Now the characters themselves are a bit of a jerk because they could have been on the disc, but the costumes are there for a bit of variety. The Shadow Mode, Spectator Mode, and more should be free when they arrive. Think back to the Tournament Mode on Super Street Fighter 4. That came as a patch and not as a paid piece of content. Capc...
Same here, but at the same time, every game feels the same. Street Fighter 4, Super Street Fighter 4 and Blazblue has spoiled me. MvC3 will be great as well as Mortal Kombat 2011.
Somehow, Paul Giamotti's character from Shoot 'Em Up popped in my head with his quote, "Guns don't kill people, but they sure help."
Wow, I live in Columbia, SC, and my mom actually lives in Easley, SC. From where she lives, that event happened roughly fifteen minutes away. At any rate, this proves that South Carolina has some pretty dumb people. There are many times when I feel like Luke Wilson from Idiocracy....
for some reason, the line "Damn it, Bobby!" came to mind.
Its an M rated game for a reason. Sure you can ride horses, lasso some wildlife, and so on. But sooner or later, the random activities while she is doing those things will give her a rude awakening. Also, todays five year olds are smarter than yesterdays five year olds, so she will start experimenting with the button combinations eventually.
In essence, you are basically handing your five year old a box of matches. Sure, she might look at and just play with the box, but event...
Daigo is a SF legend, if not the King! The impressive come-back against Wong is proof of this.
Agree and a Bubble for you. That comment was a true, and also funny, statement. Why is it that games could have the most insane amount of violence, but release an F-bomb or two and people go nuts, while the violence takes the back seat!?
I barely play my 360 as is it is, and hearing this just made me never want to touch it again. In fact, I'm now considering selling it. Even if XBL is just a few dollars increase, its still an increase. Wii and PSN are free...FREE! Sure they may not have the features like cross-game chat or last fm but thats why we have *gasp* the internet for streaming music and voice chatting away from a game! M$ has always made me regret being a gamer, but thats where Nintendo and Sony come in to be for...
I've never been one for Halo, at least hardcore anyway. Killzone 2 was my favorite online shooter, until patched it to resemble MW/MW2. However, Reach looks really cool, and seems like an epic sendoff for Bungie. And instead of fanboyism, both consoles should be happy. 360 is getting their Halo Reach, and PS3 is getting their Killzone 3. Why complain about which is better, cause both are tailored to their respective console, so both look like they will end up great in the end.
Especially after what Lionhead Studios did with Fable II. Because the Limited Edition wasn't sought after enough or whatever whatever reason, they pretty much stripped what was supposed to be in it. I don't remember what all was in it, but it was nice, and had some kind of tarot cards in it. All the final package had was a Halo outfit and sword, making of content, and a nice silver background swap from the original burgundy color. So, I can pretty much say that I am skeptical because ...
this is getting out of control. To be honest, I loved my X360 until I was able to afford my PS3, then I stuck with it. It saved and still saves me money, but that's beside the point. Everyone is still stuck on, "but the 360 is the best PS3 is crap" and visa-versa. Just play the friggin' games for what they are and leave this immature banter of which console is better alone because I swear it feels like November 11, 2006 everyday with this finger pointing.
the AX720 has given me more than my money's worth. Agree, $169 was high, and I think that I payed more for them at Best Buy, they are very much worth it. My, along with many others, major gripe is that you can't control both chat levels and game volume separately, since the voice of your friend is heard through the speakers along with the game volume. Other than that, no problems. Even the microphone is of great quality.
i guess SC:C has sold well enough so far to warrant Ubisoft to get some good speed to issue a patch that fast!
as with most new games, there will be a glitch or two. the freeze happened to me, and i restarted my 360 and voila, and haven't had anymore problems after that. for a moment, i thought the game didn't want me to use the SC3000, and try and play SC:C the old fashioned way. ended up laughing in the long run.
how every time a major game is released as an exclusive, everyone wishes it was on their console. PS3=Mass Effect/2, 360=God of War/Uncharted, Wii= um...Madworld? In this case, HR might work on the Wii, but as others have said, QD won't take the time to downgrade the graphics and they won't take a control scheme that is catered just for the Playstation controller and optimize it for the Wii.
Okay, M$. I can understand your logic, but slightly so. If you ban people for modded hard drives, fine. Way to increase your own product's sales. But for something like fixing a product 3rd party after the RROD, thats just stupid. Also, you may think you are doing something great, but do you guys realize that you are going to lose some profitability from those who are being banned. 1,000,000 times $50 yearly XBL fee = $$$ being lost from your "plan". Just a quick fact, M$.
I love these videos that have a bit of thought put into them.
"kind of reminds me of my cousin vladamir". that was great.
