Microsoft as we know have invested alot of time, logic, and heart into the Xbox 360. Tons of research dictate every move they make with the system. Everything I said the 360 needed when I first seen pictures of it and started getting info about it before it came out a couple of years ago was already thought about and implemented in the system. There is a reason why Microsoft is a huge, successful organization, and that is because they are smart. Now by some moves they make, mere mortals like ...

It's just the future people, embrace it. And as far as your hard drive crashing or whatever for the guy that commented with that, that's why I was saying websites will give you the ability to redownload your purchases. Gotta go to my real job now and pick up my paycheck so I can buy some video game consoles tommorrow, later.

that was pretty funny about the guy running around like a queer. Well, I must agree that if you are an Xboxer, then this is going to be a very merry Christmas for you. I mean, I have games for the box that I still havent played. But it's nice to know that we are getting to the point to where you have so many quality games coming out that it really doesnt matter if there is a slow month or two in between, because of the titles you will still have to play as well as the extended life online mul...

I'm picking up a ps3 tommorrow from a pawn shop for $360 60 gig even. It'll look nice sitting side by side with an Xbox Elite. And I guess I'll snag a wii as well. And that'll pretty much take me out of much of these flamewars as I simply won't care as much, but will be able to give a dead on true comparison of multiplatform games.

And since the spring update on LIVE, you can now download content as much as 3 times faster than before, so a hd movie on live don't take a very long time, and that is happening right now. So 5 years from now even will be a totally different landscape as far as how consumers act. People didnt think downloadable music would overcome the popularity of owning a cd, yet now that is all you hear about, who's to say the same won't happen with movies? Websites are already in place to where you can d...

This is the only game I see that justifies having motion sensing. I played katamari before and have to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed it. If Microsoft gets into the whole motion sensing department and release a motion sensing controller, then this game, having motion sensing and rumble will be awesome. Like Microsoft or don't like them, it is undeniable that they are trying to have the console with the most diverse selection of genres. RPG is their main focus as far as bringing more to the c...

You can already tell by some games now coming out for the wii that the very feature that Nintendo is betting it all on, the motion sensing nunchuk controller, the lack of diverse gameplay with this controller will in fact slow sales of third party titles as only first party titles IMO will use the wiimote at or near its full potential. And when more and more third party games start to use the snes controller style of gameplay instead of spending time finding more ways to use the nunchuk featu...

because 2 or 3 Ubisoft studios work on different Splinter Cell games. You echo a comment I made earlier about other titles losing their luster if they were released so close to each other. I used Metal Gear Solid games as an example, no way would people care as much about MGS4 if the games were released so close together. What Ubisoft needs to do is in between each Splinter Cell game, release a Splinter Cell companion game or something if they are able to release these games so quick. I damn ...

Overall, there are gonna be more third party multiplatform titles than first party exclusives for either console, and this is bad for Sony because all of these titles will look similar on both systems. With the type of power Sony is boasting about, gamers want games that clearly trumps every single aspect of a game over the 360, and sadly, we havent seen that. To have to look so hard at comparisons to even notice a slight difference is truly nonsense. These minute differences we are seeing be...

After Pandora Tommorrow came out to look just like the first Splinter Cell in my opinion, Chaos Theory came out of nowhere and just blew my mind. Even by next gen standards, Chaos Theory is not bad to be on a last generation console. And with the wii being more powerful than the original xbox, Nintendo could in fact get some decent looking games if they wanted to. But Chaos Theory to me is the best, and Conviction, I'm sure will trump Chaos Theory.

I recently signed up and started my second life experience this morning. Now the last time I played an mmo was with City of Heroes, and it looks as if I remember why I quit. I just can't stand the lag you get in these environments. I guess my second life was indeed shortlived.

as well as its close allies to supply the games that can (or cannot) showcase the PS3's full potential. Someone a little earlier posted the comment about game studios wanting to release multiplatform games at the same time, and by doing that, with two systems fairly close as far as capabilities go, third party developers arent interested in going the extra mile to make one version look superior. Plus first party titles is the only thing that is keeping the wii afloat, and even that boat will ...

Were back on the good one. What I mean is when the first splinter cell came out, it was a good game. Then the Ubisoft studio that worked on the first one passed on Pandora Tommorrow to I believe their other studio Ubisoft Shanghai while they worked on chaos theory, which was an excellent game. And it has happened again as another studio developed Double Agent while the original crew has been developing Conviction. So, I have every reason to believe that this is going to be a great game. It ju...

So that is news for each one of them. For you to waste your time reporting as well leaving such a comment is overkill. Anyways, Activision is a great company and I would hate this situation to escalate to epic proportions.

Damn, I can sure appreciate the time you took to let these people know what's really going on. But really, as this place is full of fanboys, your knowledge will fall on mostly deaf ears. People with eyes wide shut. I'm actually truly beginning to feel sorry for Sony. I mean, really.

Your hard drive will not be stuffed with your 100+ movies. You will at will be able to pick whatever movie you want to watch from your virtual library and download it. This will save your hard drive space for more important stuff........porn, j/k
