If you don't like the map packs, don't buy them. Nobody if forcing you to buy them. You can still enjoy the game the same way without the map packs.

Modern Warfare 3 will be locked at a MINIMUM of 60fps, so according to Robert Bowling, you shouldn't be seeing it go below 60fps.

Anyway, 30fps is fine and I wouldn't have any problems with it. But having slightly worse graphics and being able to run at 60fps, I'd much rather pick that option.

No bonus or discount... why would someone pre-order the map pack from GameStop again?

If you want realism, join the military.

It's a game and people are supposed to have fun with it and if Treyarch thinks nerfing the Famas will do that, they did what they're supposed to. Making the game more fun.

When 9 out of the 10 pro players use the Famas, it says something about the weapon. It has nothing to do with 12 year olds complaining.

They've been continuously tweaking the game and it was only matter of time before they tweaked the most complained about weapon.

Even though it's a bit late, I'm glad they made the adjustment.

The bigger they are, the more money they rake in.

It'll be a while before the Call of Duty franchise falls.

Good job supporting their games? Have you played World at War lately?

They do a good job supporting their current game.

Can't say I disagree with the article. Call of Duty is riding a wave of momentum and it's not going to stop with Modern Warfare 3.

Hacking websites / servers of multinationals is 1 thing, but when you hack the CIA's website, you're just asking for it.

You've "proven your point", now it's their turn. Let's see who wins.

To disturbing_flame. The premium feature list isn't made public yet, but 1 of the reasons the "10%" isn't free, is because it includes free map packs. Which cost $15 a pop.

They can still decide to remove it though. I'm hoping Infinity Ward will remove it...

Just because you don't care, doesn't mean others don't understand.

5337d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

pepsilover_2007 why can't you understand that there is a list of FREE features of Elite, stuff you DON'T have to pay for.

Only if you want more than the free features, you will have to pay for a subscription.

It's old news, but it's good to see people are reminded of this.

5338d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Most of the time it's included and free. This will be no different with Modern Warfare 3. Quite a few features, including stat tracking, will be free.

5338d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Elite will include the map packs for free, which will cost you about $45 if you buy them separately. I don't know how much Elite will cost, but Activision can't just give away $45 per year to everyone (not saying I wouldn't like this).

Comparing Battlelog and Elite is like comparing apples and pears, sort of.

Not only that, Commando and OMA won't be in Modern Warfare 3 either. Some good decisions there.

5346d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Noted.

5346d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

This isn't really a feature which will convince me to pay either. Other companies are doing the same thing... for free.
