Apparently you are both stupid and a filthy casual, its a tough pill to swallow i know but these guys know what they're talking about, why not listen to them, take what they say on board then dismiss them as fools and get on with life. I like my 20-30 hrs games, any longer and I can't be arsed to start it
I think for Sony its a given, bluray is their baby and with them now topping 200gb and no whispers of a media replacement they'd be silly not to offer physical next gen, I don't think there's a downside for them
Wasn't there a rumour a while back regarding a new xbox controller coming which is the equivalent?
It'd be a perfect time to release on ps5, launch the controller and patch select previous titles.
I had a physical release playing this demo
Your grammar is giving me a headache!
@neonrider Your whole take relies on the fact that you think the space left by Microsoft when they pull xbox out won't be filled by a new company? There's a lot of money to be made in videogames, its never been a one horse race ( yes I realise I'm ignoring Nintendo but its not out of spite, I think they have their handheld/less powerful market to contend with and thats heating up nicely with the introduction of these premium pc handhelds ) I know valve have semi-tried before with...
The lack of comments on this story is enlightening, is it "coz its n4g" or is it that nobody really gives a f**k?
Yet most people haven't opted for the cheaper alternative, just makes your comment a tad disingenuous
And there I was thinking quality games were needed to turn things around
There's also the question if 50,000 xbox fans buy it is it worth the time and effort to port it
The 1st trailer? I'll have to go up in the attic and dust off my old betamax for that
@SyntheticForm The narrative is already laid out in this one so a compelling atmosphere is all that is needed.
Still hesitant tho, I played the original and really enjoyed it but this just looks a bit meh, characters look a little off and the graphics in general look tardy at best, there's a lot of better looking games out there even from the early ps4 days, I dunno its just not getting me excited
Cant wait to play it on ps5 asap
If you take the USA out of the equation which i'm guessing is generally a 50/50 split, the rest of the worlds numbers are eye opening
Don't bother it'll be free on psplus soon enough, the full Microsoft experience
Microsoft win for the reason you've given which is a pretty fair accurate take, Sony win as they'll get more game sales through psplus so more money for them and playstation 5 owners win because there's more choice of games to play.
There is only one loser here as far as I can see and thats xbox owners, what do they get?
Ive been a playstation gamer since inception and im disappointed this isn't coming to ps5, out of all xbox games this is the one thats got playstation written all over it. I wonder if the xbox fanbase is going to appreciate it as its short cinematic and 3rd person, we've all heard how much disdain they have for this genre of game
If recent rumours are true with 75% of xbox sales going in favour of the series s that means 90,000 series x sold
Surely if you've been told about a shadow drop its no longer a shadow drop?
This has been the case for most of sony's 1st party single player games, they reap the benefits of being exclusive then some time later throw it out there on pc, its worked so far and looks like continuing, yes piracy is a problem on pc we all know this including Sony thats why they don't go down the day and date route.
10-20 million sales on ps5 at £70 then another million or two sales on pc is not to be sniffed at despite the risk of piracy.
