Only if their developers expect me to buy them.
PS1-2 are no big trick to emulate at full speed on modern hardware. PS3 is another matter entirely. I would have been shocked to see support for it on the PS5 out of the starting gate.
@UltraNova: Not only am I OK with this, but I really hope it makes its way into the PC space. NVMe SSDs hooking directly into the PCIe bus, but externally with the same ease as a USB flash stick? Yes, please!
And how sweet it is when they get their asses whipped in court.
Looks like the problem won't affect most of us. He uses the arrow keys for movement, and nearby control keys (e.g., Right-Shift, Right-Ctrl) for related functions. If you use the traditional WASD for movement, you'll be fine.
Boy, are you lost.
I'm glad to see Kid Chameleon getting some recognition. It was outstanding, but remained in relative obscurity.
Most TVs refresh 60 times per second. That was the case even before HDTV. 30 Hz is *half* the refresh rate, which means each frame is strobed twice (without changing position). This results in jittery motion. 30 fps has *never* been the correct frame rate for video screens. It was a compromise because of primitive gaming hardware. Those days are gone, and 30 fps should have gone with them.
Yep. I'm one. My PC monitor is 1080p, by choice. 60 fps is not difficult at all at this resolution, with middling PC specs.
I don't recall any allusion to current politics in The Witcher 3. Medieval politics dealing with fiefdoms, and tyrants vs benevolent rulers are fine. But identity politics have no place in a game set the better part of a millennium ago in European folklore.
Locked to one per Switch. Period. A really crappy thing to do. Also, no cloud saves. I wanted this game before. Now I don't.
I'd love to see all those games get a proper release on the Switch. The Wii-U remasters of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess should be easy, and a no-brainer. Ocarina and Majora need more sprucing up, but they're worth it, particularly Ocarina. Skyward Sword, while my least favorite of the 3D Zeldas, deserves it as well, but tone down the waggle, please. If a button press can do something just as well as a shake, let us use a button.
It's a joke based on taking the title of the games--"Mario Brothers"--to its logic conclusion. If Mario is a Mario brother and Luigi is a Mario brother, then their surname is Mario. Hence, Mario Mario and Luigi Mario.
". . . the president added that because he believes the target audiences of Nintendo Switch and its competitors will be different, new consoles will not have a significant impact on Nintendo’s business."
How long have some of us been saying this? Nintendo dominates its own market--in fact, right now they own it. No one else offers a home console that doubles as a portable (or a portable that doubles as a home console, if you prefer). It doesn't matter how m...
I don't hate Google, but I do hate the very concept of Stadia. I'm glad it's failing.
Is this a mobile game? That would be why I know nothing about it (or care).
I know. It's a small minority of the other 10% who are making all the ugly noise.
Who ever said they were? Not anyone with a brain.
Wait, what? Did the DLC put a stop to the constant, timed incursions of enemies in the vanilla game (even after completion)? I have not gotten the DLC, so I wouldn't know.
