I feel like considering the fact that a lot of casual gamers bought the ds and the fact that the ds has so many models, maybe a lot of them dont even realize that it is an entirely new system and think it is just another model. Just a thought

I have no clue why people always say "reviews do not make good games". That makes no sense at all. Great games earn great reviews (most of the time). how is it so hard to understand? by saying it the way you did, it makes it sound dumb. But thats because you flipped the sentence on itself. I completely understand fantastic games have gotten run of the mill scores, so don't think i'm one of those "reviews=everything" people

Halo 2 took multiplayer to a whole new level for me and many others, but Halo:CE's campaign is usually considered to be the best and most classic

I actually think that 343 working on Halo:ce will give them a better feel as to what initially made the series great. Guess all we can do is wait
i don't understand why any of these games are a bad thing on sony or ms side. The die hard fans of each game will probably love it and buy it, and those that don't see a point to it will pass up. no big deal. However, I do love the hell out of halo:ce, the game that got me into games, and will buy it day 1 if i have the money
dude come on. I just got a 360 a handful of months ago and i'm hoping to get through gears 1 and 2 before the 3rd one comes out. But to even suggest the idea that uncharted won't be a powerhouse in terms of quality is blind. Uncharted 2 has won more awards than almost any game ever. So saying "quality?" and "the beta alone was better than the final multipl. of uncharted 3" makes you look like a fanboy. sorry. unless you did in fact play the final game...

I think his point is that the two GENRES are close enough for comparison. He's not drawing similarities to both games, he's simply stating that the type of game, in it's most basic form as a tps, is comparable to an fps in some ways
Sure it's not the most perfect comparison but I've had much more fun with this more than any call of duty since modern warfare 1
