Nah, it wasn't that fast, on average, not that it wasn't fast.
But still can you load directly from the UI into your last saved game in 4 seconds or less? The whole game is being put into memory in 4 seconds or less and fully loaded, that's amazing. And let's be fair that's not really comparable to fast travel. which is just loading new texture and is still way faster in DC just a quick fade to black then boom.
Not that much of a surprise if the textures are now in 4k.
I'm not taking a position in the argument about this game, but all I have to say is I'm playing Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut on PS+ and PS5 upgrades are more than they are given credit for.
Loading from the UI into the game using cards in <4 seconds is crazy and once in game it's even faster. And the haptics on the controller are excellent.
Just my opinion but Final Fantasy shouldn't be about traversal it should be about telling an interesting story..
Look at 15, they spent so much effort making an open world and filling it with pointless side quests the main story was disjointed and terrible. Imagine if they had used the time they spent on the dumb side quests making actual story missions how much better of a game it would have been.
They have already put so much effort into it to fix the emulators and add NTSC options and create a preservation team they seem like they are very interested in in classics and the premium tier.
I'm kind of surprised Eber Labs hasn't become a PlayStation Studio. They seem like a good fit with their advertising background and their gaming future.
This is the third or fourth time that you have said something, then in the very next comment claimed that's not what you said. You can't expect anyone to take you seriously.
The reason LM isn't used by most consumers is that it's conductive, so unless people are very careful, they can destroy a computer or chip. Secondly, the PS5 designed a way that the LM is pooled in a sealed reservoir designed in a way that keeps it from the air so it will last longer t...
You said the liquid metal would need to be replaced every 2-3 years.
I am telling you that is not true.
LM does not dry out because it's metal. It will not oxidize because it's sealed from the oxygen, it will not galvanize because it's not connected to copper or any metal that would cause galvanization, and the PS5 is incapable of generating enough heat to cause it to solidify.
Liquid metal does not dry out that's the whole point of it. And when it's fully sealed like it is in the PS5 it will not oxidize either. nor is the connector copper so it will never galvanize. The PS5 will never in it's useable lifetime need the LM to be reapplied.
Clearly basically no one would ever reapply the paste on a console, that's why there are no guides on youtube or ifixit and why I totally never did it on any of my devices.
It's neat, but this is kind of a false take considering the whole power unit is removed and bigger than the console itself and needed like 6 fans to keep it cool, then overheats and fries the whole thing when they stop working. As well as the water block.
I think if anything it proves how well-designed the PS5 is. That it not only contains the power supply, but cools the whole package with one fan and still stays nearly silent. And with the liquid metal, you'll neve...
What is wrong with you? Why are you dragging this on?. PS+ factually has cheaper plans than game pass.
Yes fact's matter
$119.99 is less than $179.88
$99.99 is less than $119.88
And both plans PS+ plans offer twice the number of games.
And that's why more than 85% of subscribers use the yearly rate. And given that there is also a 3 month plan the single month rate is irrelevant for this discussion....
I actually have that already and all the collectors stuff. I too was surprised that this game got a trial. But I sincerely hope more people will buy it thanks to that.
The truth is I was probably always going to buy this, but after playing the demo and being reminded how much I like cheerful things like this I decided to buy it. $50 is more than I have spent on a game in quite a while, but I have zero regrets. It should arrive sometime later today actually, just waiting ...
