I sure as hell don't want Hillary Clinton to ban any games. I think anyone who's for freedom of speech would be against banning any form of media, no matter how much you disagree with that form of media.
But that freedom to purchase those games without parental consent doesn't apply to minors. So it's fair for her to say that she doesn't want people under 17 to be able to buy games that aren't supposed to be bought by people under 17. Hell, I'm fairly certain any candidate for ...
F*ck you and your anti-semitic ass.
I think I've noticed a very conservative political presence amongst most gamers. I think it has something to do with liberals being reluctant to embrace violent games, whereas conservatives are ready to shoot the crap out of stuff.
It seems impossible to separate politics from games. For example, where will a game like Call of Duty be set? Certain games might have more or less of a political meaning, like Haze. It just kind of gets to me that gamers are seem so conservative in ...
These guys must suck at PC gaming. I run with WASD and push Shift-F all the time in WoW as a matter of fact. There are lots more complex key patterns that I use, and I wouldn't consider myself a PC gamer. Also, does the game not have an option for keybindings?
You just proved my point. It was proven a little while back that SDF is owned by Wii60 and is just posing as a Sony fanboy site. Here's the link from Kotaku: http://kotaku.com/gaming/we...
P.S. @ SonySoldiers,
I feel honored to have such a notorious fanboy insult me. You truly made my day.
Who hasn't figured out by now that SonySoldiers is really a 360 fanboy pretending to be a PS3 fan? It really makes him look pathetic.
I don't know, but I want to live there. Do you think those chocolate PS3's still have backwards compatibility with vanilla?
Sony knows that Microsoft has done well by having the $350 Xbox 360. Yes, it's missing a lot of features, but most consumers don't care/ don't notice. They'll buy it, then buy then Wifi adapter, then buy the HD-DVD drive, then buy the Xbox Live. And It ends up being a lot more expensive, so Microsoft makes a killing. Sony wants in on that business. This path of "giving value to the consumers" isn't working very well for them and they know it.
But don't pretend like th...
Can't wait for death knights. They look bad ass.
Like CBS corporation split it's tv division into Viacom. Then Viacom and CBS merged again, just to split again recently. The stocks are still owned by the same people. The people just now own stocks for the two companies separately. In the case of Viamcom and CBS, they both have a controlling share owned by a company, 80% of which is owned by one person (the remaining 20% is owned by her daughter).
But, yes, companies can definitely split.

I think I might just be optimistic, but I'm hoping it's coming back to OCTOBER 2007 for both the PS3 and 360!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is going to fail from all the reports of lame, but I think this is awesome. I'd love to have a little piece of the Master Chief with me while I excrete my feces. But alas I don't have an Ebay account nor do I want to pay a lot for it, so I guess I don't actually want it that badly.
Playing Halo at my friend's house certainly got me hooked on FPS's. I bought an Xbox just for it. Halo 2 was also pretty fun and I got Xbox Live just for it. Halo 3 will probably sell me on the 360 if the PS3 doesn't pick up really soon. So I'd say that Halo's hype is mostly deserved.
I get all my consoles from Costco because of the policy and because they have bundles that end up saving you $50 on your console. So I plan on eventually buying a 360 from Costco, but maybe some people don't have a Costco where they live. Or maybe they just like paying more for their consoles with a 30 day return policy?
Because success in the PC market does not translate to success int eh console market. The console market is much much much more cut-throat than the PC market has I explained in my original reply, and it would take a totally different business plan and a LOT of money as a first venture at this point.
I like Google and I think they'd make a fantastic console that would have some weird and innovative way of paying for itself. Blizzard would create an awesome console too I think. It'd be great if they could create one that was geared towards MMO's. I think that'd be a really cool idea.
But back on topic, I think a google console would be great. It's be as powerful like the PS3 (their search engine is proof), and it'd be actually innovative (they invented the new way of searchi...
The PC market has higher margins than the console market. The console market requires a long term plan to sell your console at a low or negative profit, so that you can make it back up on games. Microsoft hasn't made any profit on the 360 yet. Sony hasn't made any profit on the PS3 yet. Nintendo's making tons of profit, but that's because the Wii costs less than $250 to manufacture, so it's really a scam.
I don't think Dell would be interested in this cut-throat market when the...
I would kill IBM if they made one that you had to upgrade. When you start doing upgrades, you suddenly have to buy each component separately to get stats that are strong enough to play the most current games. I don't want to have to do that. You'd eventually have to upgrade the RAM and GPU for starters, and then upgrade the HDD and the Disc Drive and the fan, then you'd be upgrading the CPU and the MOBO to support all this crap you're upgrading. You'd have to spend $2000 to fully upgrade the ...
Sticky, why do you always have the weirdest avatars? They kind of creep me out.
So, you're not bothered because it's racist? You're bothered because Bush is also a man, and that would make it gay? You must have something wrong with your head. You're not bothered by anti-semitism, you're bothered by gays?
