I'm sure anyone on here that was at EGX on Friday afternoon can vouch for me.
This and Project Cars were queueless.

And @Spacedelete Im not a huge racing fan so I find most track racers boring. And I only played a time trial anyway . Can never really judge a game on 10 minutes of play

Oh really? I guess I'm living in the past. I still like indoor football on Fifa 98...and that sound track!

Lol oh good I was sort of hoping that you had meant to as didn't want to offend you lmao.
Great comment to be honest!

Well seeing as Playstation have sold more units this isnt suprising. I expected a bigger gap - especially seeing as Fifa is more associated with Playstation.
As an owner of Xbox and PS, if I were to buy a Fifa game (which I wouldnt anymore) I would definately buy it on PS as Ive grown up with Fifa on PS, it just feels right.

The game bored me at EGX. Played it about 5pm Friday, there was literally no queue, could just walk up and play. Was okay I guess, better than Project Cars atleast!
Graphics were nice though.

I can tell you're going to get alot of hate for that post, but you do make some good points. Alot of double standards here on N4G!
The game looks great, whether its a system seller only time will tell.

Didnt play it at Eurogamer as I was only there for a day and there was other games taking priority for me. However I had a good view from the COD queue and it looked crazy!
So bright and colourful - reminded me of that Xbox Original game *Heads to google as forgot the name* Jet Set Radio Future!
Its nice to see this kind of game as I dont feel there is much variety in games anymore. As for a system seller, I'm really not sure. The average "mainstream" gamer only ...

I played this! Queue was tiny!
I'm not that impressed tbh, but 10 mins didn't do it must justice. I found it quite immersive though, the way the character moves when being attacked felt quite realistic, especially when you fall down.
It felt almost exactly like Dead Island but more detailed, I didn't play Dead Island 2 so I can't compare unfortunately.
Dying Light was actually quite hard when you are surrounded by Zombies it made me feel quite claustr...

I actually agree with you, but I also think you are doing exactly what he is describing..

"...but I find myself constantly amused by humans’ inability to disagree without throwing around labels and personal psychiatric evaluations"

You disagree so you called him a "Judgemental Prick", so clearly you cannot disagree without thorwing around labels. You proved his point.

But as I said I kind of feel the same way so....my he...

I played The Evil Within at EGX on Friday, didnt think that much to it but I honestly beleive that is because the 10 minute demo couldnt possibly do it justice - and they picked a pretty poor level to demo.
Still cannot wait for that game! Didnt get to play Alien, the queue was far too long for me, but that alone says something!

If anyone in the UK is looking for a decent rental service I cannot reccomend Boomerang Rentals enough.
I couldnt play half the games I do without them, theyre well priced, quick, and have a good choice of packages. Will be a life saver for the next few months so many games I want! If they dont send me Shadow of Mordor out on Friday, I will have to buy it - but fingers crossed.

Bit late, ive had friends (by friends I mean random people on PS4 that I don't actually know) playing this all weekend.

Played it at EGX, it didn't look that great..

I had high hopes too, until I played it at EGX yesterday. There was no queue at all so I thought "great!". It was the end of the day so I was lucky to be able to squeeze another game in, but I was so underwhelmed. It looks good, but it played like every other racer for the past few years. I'll give it another go when its out, but that and project cars sucked in comparison to FH2 in my opinion. I didn't get to play the Crew sadly.

Here's a top solution, just make games cheaper. They'd probably make more money selling games for £15 each as far more would buy them!

Piracy is far worse. One original owner, thousands of downloaders.
Preowned games do not go through thousands of people. Maybe 3-4 people before they become worthless anyway and are sold for £1 at a carboot years later.
Also if it wasn't for preowned I could never afford even a third of my games. I may not buy them new, but I buy alot of DLC!

The last of us 28.99, I paid 27.99 for my preorder. Most supermarkets had it at £30 too,if you paid £40 youre a fool.

People at Eurogamer were raving about it, and the queue was one of the longest!

Played evil within yesterday at EGX, I need that game! Also Forza, Shadow of Mordor and Alien (which zi sadly didn't get to play)

PS4 updates have been extremely underwhelming so far. The actual support from Sony (in terms of new features) has been almost non existent compared to competitors.
I hope this update actually brings some new features to the table and speed up the goddamn messages and friends list, the PS3 is faster!
But to avoid hype I wont read articles about it anymore, and Ill just hope! Atleast the games are good - that's the most important thing to me.
