MGS4 was worse though. That game sucked.
Phantom Pain is the second worst. I totally agree with the resource stuff and the Base management. It's totally boring and would prefer it to just not exist. Maybe I'm not far enough to see that get good yet.
I'm not arguing or anything, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Was just hoping for a little more in terms of replaying.
Hanging on to it as it was a great experience and I will probably play again in a few years.
I didn't mean trophies or anything.
I meant in the sense some characters deaths were so insignificant the only difference it made was their next scene would be cut out, sometimes the other characters didn't even notice.
I would love to see more games like this but hopefully with a bit more diversity.
This game was amazing first play through.
It wasnt until my second playthrough that I learned most decisions make little to no difference at all.
The game created a great illusion of choice and consequence but the results are dissapointing. Sure a character can die, but it doesnt make a whole lot of difference ever.
No spoilers, but toward end of the game a character of mine died. They were never even mentioned again through final few scenes. I dont think anyo...
I have played for about 15 hours and I find the AI as dumb as ever. It hasnt changed at all. As for the rotating enemy positions, theyre so basic it doesnt add any challenge.
I agree. I like the game but I prefer the structure of previous games where I advanced through the games locations.
Snake Eater being my very favorite.
With Phantom Pain I feel alot less of a connection to the missions, they feel alot less personal. I think its partly because its just "go here, kill/capture whoever, rescue whoever" in the same locations over and over. It detaches me from the story when I feel as though Im doing mundane tasks over a...
Loved my first play through but I'm disappointed in my second.
Making totally different choices but most the time the outcome is either the same or very little.
Characters dying only change a little dialogue and then cuts out their scenes, nothing majorly significant.
Rent it and complete it once unless your a trophy whore. I shouldn't have bought it full price as finished it in under 5 hours.
Definitely not. Half the world doesn't have good enough Internet. And a hell of a lot of people have data caps.
5-6 years ago they said the same about movies. DVDS are still popular as ever.
Ahh they are? Kept telling me they were down for Maintenance today. Gets frustrating when online features dont work on day one.
Usually I wouldnt care, but I've been playing single player for 3 days already. Ill try again tomorrow, gotta go work now.
Digi Only games will never happen. Atleast not in the next 20 years. Hopefully not until Im dead and gone because I will never be fine with that. The day my physical collection stops growing is the day I walk away.
I still have a long way to go with Witcher 3. What an epic adventure it has been and will continue to be.
Only things Ive noticed on PS4 is a couple of Side Ops are repeatable but this might be on purpose.
Oh & the servers still arent up. Had it since Saturday, expected them to be up today but nope.
Can't compare research to trying the game.
I loved the idea of many games which I ended up disliking.
Do you remember Haze? Damn I was hyped for that. ESO. DA Inquisition. Gotta try them to know really.
I just bought a 2tb hdd for £60 and fitted 8th myself. Easy.
It's full now though, so not enough for me. 1tb definitely wouldn't be enough unless you only play a few games at a time.
I don't know where the hell MS or Sony got the idea that 500 GB would be enough in the first place.
No, perhaps we just dont care. I just enjoy playing games I couldnt care less what happens behind the scenes, and nor do many gamers.
I enjoy TV too, but I care very little about the production teams behind the shows I watch.
THANKYOU, someone with a brain.
Isnt my fault I get every game like 5 days early, its Gamestops.
Nice though, sometimes I can bag £80 for them on Gumtree like I did with Witcher 3 4 days early.
Glad Im not the only one. It ruins immersion and is just bloody annoying. The opening credits were the worst, every two pages or so it said "A Kojima game", "A Kojima Production".
We know. & whats more alot of people just dont care.
Yeah it probably is, but its almost like gloating, and I dont like gloaters. Im enjoying the game but I wish I could turn those credits off.
Lmao they look terrible. Especially mileena she looks like a man.
