It works, but doesn't double the XP. It adds 50 on to the 100 you already get, but not always.
It will definately calm down, but with all the gyms by my house I can see myself being a long term player, even if i only log in to retake my gyms!
This is why they didn't care about the Wii U.
And its still broken. 5th day now.
I find water Pokemon in random places too, but when I went to the ferry dock, I was ambushed by 3 or 4 Psyducks and are Staryu and then about 3 minutes later Polywag and Magikarp popped up. I guess they're just more common by water, but appear in other places as I guess some people are hundreds of miles from it.
Shame the game is broken now. Cannot track anything as everything is always three steps away. Same for everyone I know.
Don't you think they should of made sure the whole product worked before releasing it though?

But we should be able to just enter a game from main menu no problem. What was the point in working on getting it to support BC if they haven't even fixed the damn game. It's totally broken.
Multiplayer is broken. 25 mins to get into free roam, there was no one in it. Loaded up the character customisation thing...or tried to. Quit the fame after 9 mins of loading. In total about 35 mins I managed to take one step.
Loaded after 26 mins, went into outfitter to change my appearance, been loading 4 mins so far.
I don't remember it being like this, it's totally ruined the game for me. Back to current gen games then!
Has anyone got multiplayer to work? Been loading free roam for nearly 25 minutes and this is my second attempt?

Much rather play it on my faster, quieter Xbox One. Slightly better controller too. I hate booting up the 360 now it just seems so sluggish!

I never understood the queues of kids outside the bus to meet this guy..id rather grab an overpriced plastic pint (or 4 as it works out better value lol) and do ANYTHING else.

Why does the artice say they dnt get XP from Nice or Great throws anymore? I do. Literally just have about 2 minutes ago.
