I agree with most or what you said here, except the Battlefield kits. Its really easy to unlock most of that stuff through normal gameplay. Besides I find the weapons well balanced, and the later weapons aren't necessarily better than the earlier ones.
For example, Ive had every Carbine unlocked for months but I still chose to use the first gun the AK12.
Most games that shut down, people don't play anyway. But its still not acceptable. Some friends and I still played Resistance Fall of Man quite often until they announced server closure.
Games with big onlines should be prepared to support privately hosted servers so when they do close down its no major problem.
Some games last years, COD4 servers are still open!
When official servers shut down why don't they just let us host our own? Plenty of people have a system capable of hosting a server so why not?
IM not sure if Ive ever really noticed a difference on consoles.
I need a way to compare it directly..
EDIT: Watched the BF comparison video posted above somewhere. I can tell a slight difference but not enough to matter.
I don't think that videos the best example though as there is nothing really happening.
Is that the fat one? I havent actually done much research into this, I'm just craving a Vita for some reason.
Last Spiderman game I played was Web Of Shadows. That was great so this is disappointing.
Web of Shadows wasn't a movie tie in though..
after hearing about this bundle I was going to buy a Vita mew, glad I didn't now.
Ill pick up a second hand one in a few months or something, and hopefully this game will be fixed by then although I did prefer the first.
Nice to see some good news for Nintendo, seems to have been alot of negativity lately!
Lol someone actually asked Sony Customer Service about this?
Its weird films have been in 1080p for years, it surprises me that its a big deal for games. I would of thought we'd be looking at 4k soon with all these new TVs coming out.
As you can probably tell, I have no idea what Im talking about when it comes to this stuff xD I just enjoy playing games.
This.. Only owning one system limits your gaming experience! Own them all!
But obviously money is an issue with most people so sometimes you have to wait for big pricedrpps a few years later :(
Size isn't the most important thing. There's been plenty of games with large worlds but they lack depth and detail.
As long as the world has those things Im happy. Really looking forward to this one.
Too right. We all paid for Gold long before Games For Gold. So why should we moam about them not being as good as PS Plus? If they never gave us anything for free chances are we would still be paying for Gold just like before.
As you said this is a prime example of the two companies influencing each other. Just like Xbox influenced PS into the trophy and party system.
Imagine a world with no competition?
Ryse didn't perform badly at all. Have you played it? Not the best game ever but absolutely nothing wrong with its performance..
People should shut up about the cloud, I dread the day the cloud takes over ad it basically means bye bye offline gaming.
As for Ryse, damn that looked tasty. Not a half bad game either just too short and not enough variety in the levels.
I thought PS4 fans called Titanfall boring and generic?
It is theyre right, but now theyre all hyped for it? Prepare for a dissapointment like us Xbox gamers had.
IM about 4 hrs in, and it has got better. I am enjoying it, but I don't think its quite as groundbreaking as people have made it out to be.
Its getting more interesting as I go along though with the powers, and I really like the inovative DS4 control ideas. Other games don't seem to use it at all.
I paid full price for both. The hours you get out of them is well worth it.
for £400 I bought X1, i could have gone to the cinema to see about 50 movies instead. Rougly 2 hrs each...thsts 100 hours of entertainment.
My X1 gave that in the first week alone.
Similar to my PS4.
Where the hell did he put down PS? Why the hell are you people so defensive!!
He never even mentioned being an Xbox fan, for all we know hes a PC gamer, or a Wii gamer...or hes just lost on the internet with no real reason to be here.
Either way your comment isn't justified.
Lmao oh no I was hoping no one would read it... i have a tendency to ramble a little and go off topic!
OT, Im not much of a tech head these days so not sure what this will mean for us as gamers but eager to find out.
The worst cash grab is EA Fifa Ultimate Team. My friend still lives at home and sees that as an excuse to spend all his money on crap as he has no bills to pay.
He spends upwards of £60 a week on Fifa Coins, and when next years Fifa comes out none of it will even matter and he will do it again.
I know its a matter of choice and no one is forcing people to buy these...it just winds me up. If you have money to throw away, you will have a much better team.
