Just noticed, Commodore 64 games were on a tape.. How the hell did video games on a tape work..Im baffled.
Ive not played BF3. I know BF4 has a lot of hate but for me a casual Friday night Battlefield player, I feel BF4 could last a hell of alot longer with the right support and regular extra content.
I wish more games were long lasting instead of companies just moving on all the time.
You would be surprised how many people I know that didn't realise the Wii U was an actual console.
I know a few that thought it was just the controller with the screen and was an add on for the Wii.
This is another game Im going total blackout on, like I did with Watch Dogs.
Done with the days of getting over hyped and then feeling underwhelmed. Watch Dogs is so fun to me as I expected nothing :D
Id rather they keep expanding BF4 for a couple of years personally..
I thought theyd step it up on PS4 now seeing as Games For Gold has finally come to X1 with 2 games.
PS Plus game collections always been a few steps ahead Games for Gold, but not next month if this really is the case.
Im not complaining, I pay for both subscriptions regardless, just a little surprised at this one.
Most of the games are available for a couple of quid now on eBay, if people want to play them why can't they just buy them?
I got an Xbox original console for £5 at a carboot a few weeks ago, and lately Ive picked up Halo 1 and 2, Jet Set Radio Future/Sega GT 2002 double pack, GTA collection, Morrowind and KOTOR. I didn't pay more than £2 for any of them.
IM usually like this, rarely buy a game new. It was a treat from my girlfriend as I never buy myself anything, and spend all my money on her and our child.
Usually Id wait and pick it up preowned half the price, then sell it when Im done. Its a more cost effective way to play. Saying that, Id usually just stick it on my rental list and just play it when I get it.
I think the world on this game is fantastic. The way the peds interact with each other amongst other things make it feel so real to me.
I didn't fall into the hyper at all and went total blackout on this game. Got it today knowing next to nothing about it and I absolutely love it!
Wolfenstein never ever interested me, infact it was so unappealing to me that when it was released I didn't even know.
I saw some reviews and picked it up yesterday - I absolutely love it. Dived straight in on the hardest difficulty, to lengthen it out a bit and make it a bit of a challenge.
It reminds me of PS2 days where Online wasn't a factor and it was all about a fun and challenging single player. Ive never played any other Wolfenstein yet with t...
The graphics are actually pretty good.
But what makes this game special to me is the world. It feels more alive than any other open world game Ive played. The pedestrians are doing things and interacting with each other instead of walking around randomly like flocks of zombies. I even saw a car crash on it today and the two drivers got out and conversed, holding up a traffic jam of angry drivers. It felt so much more immersive than other games Ive played.
IM loving Watch Dogs so far. Played 4-5 hours and only done a few campaign missions, there's so much extra stuff to do.
The mini games are actually fun and worth playing, and there's alot of side missions. Loving invading other peoples games too, its really fun and can get very tense when you're 80%+ and theyre closing in on you...
What a load of crap Ive been playing games religiously for 18 years now and I rarely even raise my voice lol.
Infamous was very empty and repetitive for an open world game. It was also so short and didn't do any thing new at all.
Bring on the hate, I don't care. I got a platinum trophy on it so Ive played it enough to deserve an opinion.
I was actually going to argue with this, but then I looked up Far Cry on Wikipedia, and was proven wrong.
There are so many Far Cry games I didn't know about, most of them seem to be rereleases, inc expansions or something though.
But between Far Cry 2 and 3 there was a 4 year gap, so not quite every year.
Why is it the day a game is released N4G is already posting pointless articles about unconfirmed sequels we know nothing about.
Most of us haven't even played the game yet. All these articles eager to discuss things years down the line - how about writing educated articles on current games?
I was thinking about this sort of thing the other day when playing Dead Nation, Id love to play that in Left 4 Dead style FP.
A few months ago I read something about a Bully 2 announcement, could it be that?
Watch Dogs pedestrians are far more natural, they make the world feel real, living and breathing.
GTA and Watch Dogs are nothing alike IMO anyway.
