if u think playing it is bad try watching it played. watched my son do about 10 hours of it, fell asleep several times. its sitting on my shelf waiting for me to play it cause everone says its such a good game. maybe one day ill play it.
He is just picking on things u can say aboute every game of its type.
Ill have to play GEARS2 again cause i played it over christmas with a lot of distracion.
halo 3 i could agree with you that it can be different in extra playthroughs, but not gears. I think its more just how much u love a game that makes u play through again. I couldnt count how many times i played the tanker on mgs2, but the shell part i played 1 maybe 2 times. MGS4 i played it all 5 times , sad i know and i would most likely play it again if trophies came out.
Halo 3 to me wasnt great visually but was great fun to play .Gears of War 2 looks stunning in places but i coulndnt really get into it, but it did keep me playing. My son loves it though. My son says im turning into a PS3 bot maybe i am.
I am stoping buying games on reviews anymore, im going with my gut feelings from now on. If i had listened to some reviews i may not have played my favourate games of last year MGS4 and Dead space. My gut feeling was id like them and i loved them. On the other hand last year i listenened to reviews and got a few games my gut said not to get, like Resistance 2, World at War, if id listened to my gut id have saved some money. nintendo must be laughing their heads off. selling a last gen console at 180 pounds, that probely costs 50 to make or even less. it must be like winning the lottery everyday for them. i also cant see where there spending all this money there making.
