So if there aren't any Shenmue 1 & 2 official in English, either in HD collection / PSN & XBL, I don't see myself forcing to search & play it yet...

Despite lacks of ambition like you just said (although I never played Shenmue too...), I could advise you to give Yakuza series a chance.
Yakuza series main strengths are in it's deep story & game-play.
You could play Yakuza 3 without having to play the PS2 version.
If you still have doubts, you could rent / borrow Yakuza 3 first, to check the game.

Ever since Yoshitaka Murayama (creator, producer, writer, & director) from Suikoden 1 & 2, the rest Suikoden games lacks it's charms compared to 1 & 2......... : /
I've played all Suikoden games, but the non Murayama Suikoden game I loved is V.

Spinoffs, Rhapsodia (Suikoden Tactics) & Tierkreis are also decent.
