The game is a masterpiece, and with all of the rave reviews, sales were bound to take off.
I do hope this motivates them to get some DLC underway. A nice new area would be an easy thing for them to add on with it being a "room-based" environment.

I think that the "field of view" focus technique used in this games makes it look awesome.

For starters, the demo was extremely short.
Secondly, the gameplay was just LAME. If you thought F.E.A.R was lacking cretivity, look out for this one. It is as sgtraight-forward as it can get.
I'm sure it's much more impressive when moving. With gratuitous use of the motion blur no doubt.
I expect the game to look exceptional, even if it is just more of the same old MGS gameplay (which it looks like it will be from the few short videos we've been shown)

But it's not a big deal. I played the game for over 5 hours before hopping online and finding out about the screen cropping issue.
Ignorance may be bliss, but the game wasn't an less impressive with this "flaw". If you avoid playing this game because of this issue, you're only screwing yourself out of a great gaming experience.

I've had no issues with gameplay, and if I hadn't been told the screen was cropped, i would have never noticed. I've not come across a single part of the game whether it was gameplay or cinematic sequences that have been unplayable, or hard to understand becuase something was not visible on screen.
