Lool yep. I would have been happier to purchase them outright at this rate, than this service
Still overpriced, but I subbed for the first time after the GBA/Gameboy announcement last month.
This was such a great entry in the series, so I'm excited to play again. Glad this hit so soon, bc although strong, the GBA/GB launch lineup was very small.
Half expected one of these ads to be across N4G this morning. 😩
did you buy a reputable brand like SanDisk, Samsung, Kingston or some random no-name cheapo? I've never had an issue with a MicroSD from any of those brands, and all 3 of those can regularly be found for cheap prices.
Anyways, this article is dumb because in 2023, large MicroSD are so incredibly cheap. Just a 2 min Amazon search shows a 512gb SanDisk for $46.Zelda at 18gb would still leave a huge amount of room on that card. If you are brand new to the Switch, you can ...
Yea, I don't know why the downvotes. I actually worked Nintendo customer service for 3 months through a telecommunications partner, & I can confirm that Nintendo WiiU support and repairs were discontinued. You'd have to go through a Mom & Pop shop or unofficial repair shop to get one fixed.
Nintendo already discontinued support & repairs for it too, so even if you wanted to get it repaired, you can't. Well, not officially anyways.
Yea, I always found it and the Uncharted games as replayable in the same sense as watching a favorite movie. You enjoy the experience so much, you go back and experience it again periodically. I don't feel that way for every game, but I feel these are so well paced and structured like good movies. God of War is another one I can continue to experience again from time to time.
Some people are one and done, and that's ok too.
Lol Sometimes I see complaints in this community that people don't bother reading the stories before commenting. .. then the really lazy can't be bothered to even read the summary paragraph. 😂
*I too wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo were to ever yank all online support for WiiU, but "temporary" is literally one of the first things you read here.
@Goosejuice the problem is the wifi adapter in the Switch is not good at all. I have 1gbs internet in my home and my Switch only gets 60/30mbs. I'm not sure if they improved that w the OLED?
"Choose One".
I saw the image and thought Nintendo was actually being generous for once and giving out 3 games. Nope! 😂
I hear ya. I've finally conceded to the fact that I'll never be able to play all of the games that I want to play. Most of my free time in my 20's and a lot of my 30's went to gaming. I just... can't keep up anymore in my 40's. I've been saying that I'd go back to Final Fantasy XV to give it another chance... since 2016. Still haven't done it yet. XD
They really should re-release Resident Evil 7 on PSVR2 remastered w full hand tracking weapons and controls.
The alternative is one of those godawful cloud versions Nintendo does. Nobody wants that. 🤮
Thank you @autobotdan, I appreciate it. Things are certainly better, but we'll always have new and different struggles. It's always good to escape for a while and get your mind off things, engross yourself in another world and experience.
I can only imagine how cathartic, therapeutic it would have been to have had VR during those beginning years! I did find out how great PSVR was for escapism during Covid lockdowns though!
I do like how this article talks about communities, how building friendships w seemingly random strangers w shared passion can help. I got into clan matches on Unreal Tournament and Quake 3, made a lot of friends during that time. This was right before PS2 and OG XBox first came out, so I ...
Video Games helped get me through some dark dark times. 20 years ago I was in a near fatal car accident. Broke my neck in 3 places, collapsed lung, aneurysm etc etc. I barely survived, but what's worse was that I was attending one of the top art colleges in the States at that time.... and I was taken out, unable to finish, even to this day. Mounting debts, and my dreams shattered... I was thrust into a very dark place for many years. I wanted nothing more than to die for most of my 20s......
Actually what they're referring to is just the Streams that people see on Youtube. The pixelated parts outside of a person's peripheral isn't masked when watching a Stream. The person wearing the headset does not see it AT ALL from what I hear. So the clarity of PSVR2 is amazing by all accounts. This article is only saying that the flaw of the underrendered portions is visible to viewers of Streams. That's all.
However, the last part of this article is pure...
Yea, I really enjoyed Swordsman on PSVR1. Say what you will about the Moves and lack of analog sticks... they did feel really good as proper sword handles!
That coastline looks amazing and I can only imagine it in VR! Looks like an entirely new course as far as scenery goes.
He looks like a Karen. 😂
