Nothing Sony has done makes me believe they will ever get it right.
PS3 will get f**k all updates that extend it capabilities from now on. Look at how updates on the psp stagnated 2 years ago as they were saving things up for the vita.
All we'll see is token updates and security patches. The PS3 is screaming for some major updates as the entire xmb is looking tired. Oh and bringing it up during a game shows just how little effort Sony has put into it to date.
Yeah, I stayed legal but look where that got me. Sony dropped their Go, over price the games on PSN and dont release back catalog games either.
CFW is the only way to exploit the abilities of the PSP...and most likely the Vita as well.
Sony have been so f**king slow releasing PS1 games on PSN. I use to love playing them on my PSP Go but releases dried up in this part of the world and when they did come through, is was mainly Disney $hit like Little Mermaid II.
Yeah, its real kunckle bleeding gaming at its best...well, 20 years ago it was. Now its just super hyped bargain bin fodder.
Personally, I hate steam. I cant see why everyone is so quick to praise it as its been nothing but problematic from my perspective.
Honestly, if Gabe came to my place to see how annoying his software canbe he'd make changes. However, because of the frustrations I've had I wouldn't let the MF near my place.
Steam is not used for mobile devices and developers can succeed. Lower dev costs, wider target audience, easier to develop for.
Maybe these indie developers should switch to mobile devices. Lots of money to be made for stand out titles.
Come on. Where are all those who are so easily persuaded by hype that thought this was going to be a great game?
Is the vita getting skype?
There isareason the smartphone evolved. The majority of consumers hate carrying around multiple devices. The vita is not quite an all in one device so users will still need a phone.
Wifi is not really portable as its not avail in anywhere as many locations. 3g is whats needed for a more complete portable experience.
Look at ither devices that offer separate 3g and wifi models, the wifi only models sit in the stores gathering dust.
Based on demo its a 3/5 game.
Open the door to Android and you open the door to hacking. Either Sony will lock any such support down too far or developers will shy away with big retail games.
Sony have never done anything o/s related to make me think they'll get it right.
Yeah, i'll bet people who go to the gym will start strapping the Vita to their arms.
I would go with Ipod touch for portability, music, casual gaming and video playback. However, if Vita gets native avi, mkv and divx support then that would be great. However, I still hate Sony's decision to skimp on internal storage.
I also doubt th Vita will be a game changer like Apple's devices have been. No matter where you go you nearly always see nativ...
The colour scheme suits the setting and time of day.
@nuka.
Do you work for Sony as your comment could be pasted into some of their sales and marketing docs.
I'm not sold on Vita yet. I want to know about its web browser, video playback support and when it will come with built in storage.
I think the more relevant question is why would anyone want Golden Axe. It has not aged well.
AB is a great example of casual gaming. Low cost, high return software will play a major role moving forward.
Love the gameplay but probably won't play multiplayer when it comes out. Its just too damn laggy and the lobby offers you no control over what game you join.
PC multiplayer is for real hardcore gamers. Sick of all the dumbed down crap for consoles.
Funny, console gamers look down on casual gamers yet console gaming is almost casual from a PC perspective.
Look at how much the xbox o/s has evolved over the ps3 o/s over the past 5 years. Sony, where is our major update!!!
