They might have a point that in the very short run MS stock will go up and Sony stock down due to all the hype concerning Halo3 - but in the long run this is not going to change the fact that MS is hawing a really hard time making money in the gaming industry, and one game is not going to change that. This will also be the focus of serious investor.
Saying that this will be the finale nail in Sony's coffin and will end the console war, is a statement that in my mind seriously q...
Well said! - bubbles for you.
My thoughts as well - in particular, the cooling solution looks very original and well engineered.
As fare as i know, unless its plain obvious that the retailer has made a mistake, he is bound by the offer.
Then again - i don't know anything about british consumer legislation - but in most countries the consumer is protected and not the retailer.
16:26 GMT - nothing yet!
I'm starting to miss a "real" review from a more dedicated review site like Gamespot or Gamespy.
And - bashing the game for not having multiplayer functionality and being unoriginal - thats so lame.
Actually this article concerns not only Denmark, but the entire of Scandinavia. Quotes in the article is made by Nordic Film Interactive, which is the only distributer of Sony PS3 in all of Scandinavia - that means Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland - in total 24 million people.
The mention of Merlin (major danish retail outlet) is only given to illustrate how the new PS3 starter package is outselling the WII and xbox360.
Basically the number of peopl...
Its all about inflation really. In Europe we have at much more regulated labor market than in the US, primarily due to very strong unions.
This means that salaries are much higher than in the US ... salary increases -> demand for goods increases -> prices on goods increases -> demand for higher salaries increases .... (this is an extreme simplification).
To give en example of this, minimum wages here in Denmark is almost 35.000 USD / year. Since prices o...
"They didn’t like the art style and said the game lacked innovation"

Well guys - I just preorderd my copy of Lair.
Why?:
- Graphics looks amazing
- Concept and gameplay seems to be very original
- The gamingworld and battles taking place looks huge - and seems to give the player lots of freedom to wreck carnage
- The game takes full advantage of the SixAxis controller, which hopefully will be lots of fun
- Factor 5 has made some truly great flightsims in the past - so hopefully their experience from pre...
Don't be scared little one - i will buy you!

If Sony can meet its forecast then as of March 31, 2008, worldwide PlayStation 3 sales will have reached approximately 14.5 million units.
At the end of Q1, worldwide sales of the PlayStation 3 stand at approxima...
Looks nice - hopefully Anti-Aliasing has been optimized on the PS3 version. After playing The Darkness for a couple of weeks, i am starting to miss smooth lines, so i really hope EA has made the effort on this one.
Well, that was just about the clumsiest foreplay I have ever seen - and lasting an entire 7 minutes - that is so unreal.
Very cool - but i wonder if warranty is lost if you start taking the PS3 apart and replacing internal components yourself?
I suppose some people are so blinded by their convictions that they are seeing ghosts everywhere.
Soooo ... buy it from a internet retailer in another EU country! - what's the big deal!?
