I can see this game selling MILLIONS even if the graphics were to look like "Family Guy" quality, the fanbase for this series are such HALO FANATICS that they would still buy it.
U gotta be kidding me saying sony didnt support the eyetoy. With the install base they had with the ps2 im sure sony had a reason for not fully supporting it because at the time motion controls & the eyetoy wasnt really something consumers wanted at that time.
Heck sony is alot more open to new innovative things then microsoft why do u think sony gives devs all "THE FREEDOM" to come up with something new while microsoft on the other hand doesnt give devs that much ...
I mean its not like were paying for PSN. Also people act like cross chat shouldve been there from the start when they dont remember xbl never had that feature in the original xbox. It takes time to build a service & for the short period of time sony has done a superb job with PSN especially for a service that is "FREE" I dont see how can anyone complain. I can tell just from that review that u have poor taste when it comes to "QUALITY GAMES" because what u said in that review with uncharted graphics "Not Impressive" & trying to compare cod4 single player as being better then uncharted single player campaign? They still have to ask sony/ms/nintendo or they will let the content be free. A good example is when "EPIC" wanted to thank us 360 owners who helped sell 5 million+ copies of their game (I bought 2 copies myself) EPIC STUDIOS was going to give away the new dlc to us for free but microsoft didnt want them giving it out for free.
The difference with sony & microsoft is sony gives devs more freedom with their games so if the devs feel like giving free dlc to us gamers...
I actually like the way sony handles their dlc. I mean the joker dlc was free. If anything microsoft should take notes & dont be afraid to give away free content. Keeping your fanbase happy with free content will definately help them boost sales.
But I understand why some would complain. Not that it matters to me since I also bought the LBP THEME & it rox but sony shouldve atleast had a few free themes just so users can see just how cool these themes actually look & may consider even buying some when more are released with their favorite themes.
Also I really am enjoying the "Whats New" feature which makes things alot more faster to get to & the xmb feels alot faster & smoother to navigate.
Trophies load faster & everything else aswell. Love how "Whats New" makes everything alot easyer to access & i bought the LBP theme. Its way worth more then buying some clothing for an avatar.
While I was looking for a ps3 slim I couldnt find any but what was crazy was they were even out of the phat ps3's. So I just bought Guitar Hero Smash Hits for the ps3. Also seen alot of 360's in stock even though they had some good deals. Im thinking those who been really wanting a ps3 are seeing the VALUE of a $299 ps3 and they arent waiting for anothe 2 years for another price cut. This is the time to jump on to the darkside & play BEYOND.
I remember when I had a membership for "Gamespot" I made a thread "Of why bluray would be beneficial".
I said if sony & devs & others ever decided to use bluray to its potential, u will see why bluray is definately needed and why devs & even movies/tv shows directors would definately see what bluray can bring to the table.

I fail to see how the 360 had a better year last year in games especially seeing that LBP swept almost every award including GOTY08 & not to mention MGS4 which most reliable sites gave it a perfect score including IGN who even went as far as to say,"MGS4 will go down as one of the greatest games of all time". Because of all the added content & online co op, I will definately buy ninja gaiden sigma 2. I think this version is actually a few steps better then ninja gaiden 2 in every way besides all the blood. Still i think with all the added content & fixed controls & online co op, this version has the potential to be AAA MATERIAL.
