Remember when the ps3 launched & the fanbase was still small at the time but a new ip came along named "Heavenly Sword" & sold a million plus copies. Shows u that the core base enjoys NEW IP's. I can almost bet if nintendo brings a zelda game that looks as good as heavenly sword graphics id buy a wii u just for that game. Im kinda tired of the cartoony look. I dont think any of the 3 consoles will fail. If anything I just dont think consumers feel like there is a need to jump from the wii to the wii u. Nintendo will learn why the core fans are also an audience u cant just leave behind. I think they are feeling that effect now. I think the wii u will not fail but dont EXPECT wii sales.

MS has NEVER been known for taking RISKS on ANYTHING they weren't sure would succeed. They are the type of company that will put MOST of their FOCUS on what GENERATES the most INCOME. Ok so we all agree that the pc will always have superior stats over consoles. Thats fine but the way crytek is yapping about all this power is meaningless if u aint using all of that power & besides all that dont talk sh*t if u havent won GOTY yet. U may have the best graphics but besides that crytek is just another AVERAGE developer. Come see me wen crysis wins as many awards as uncharted 2 has.
With what we have seen of what could be done on the ps3 by naughty dog, santa monica studios, & guerilla. I can only imagine how awesome ps4 games will look and run when these 3 studios take full advantage of the ps4 i can almost bet they would put crytek to shame. Heck naughty dog & guerilla already have better AI with killzone & the last of us then crysis & thats using ps3 hardware over high end pc's lol.
Without exclusive games I dont see why would there be a need for 3 consoles. If we were able to buy any game thats all on every console I dont see the gaming industry growing. It would be stale and not as profitable as it is now.
Exclusives are the games that stand out from all the rest because 1st party studios have 1 console to focus on & they will take advantage of the hardware to bring that console the best they have to offer.
I could careless for motion controls but im sure to ms/sony/nintendo its important because it makes money for them. As much as it isnt that important to me & many other core gamers I guess it all comes down to which company will focus more on this and forget about the core audience. I think we all know who has been ignoring their core base but money talks so i dont blame them but its still effed up.
Im sure it is important but sony will handle it like they always have with maybe more advertising this time around. If u noticed even with the eyetoy in the ps2 era it wasnt as successful as kinect or ps move but sony always supported it anyways at that time when it was still new.
Hope its really fun. I remember how fun DC Universe Online was and I wasnt even a big fan of MMO's. It had its share of problems with loading issues at times but it did not stop me from enjoying it on the ps3. Now with Destiny, Im sure it will be one heck of a game on all NEXT GEN SYSTEMS. I also hope they come with a new dc universe online game for all next gen systems & maybe they can have cross platform play. That would be cool.
I cannot wait to play this game. These guys are so talented that i believe if naughty dog ever wanted to create a game that could be a VERY HUGE SUCCESS for them, I say they should also create an fps game on the ps4. I think ps plus & home will improve even more with the ps4. I just hope that sony succeeds with these 2 things even more with the ps4 because with the games they gives us core fans, they deserve it. I might not be a stock holder or own any sony shares but as a core gamer i feel like sony has given us so much to be a happy owner of their system. I really am looking forward to the ps4.
As much as i enjoy the ipad & iphone i have yet to see ANYTHING that interest me in terms of games on either of those so i dont how they would be a threat to sony or ms. Do I think they can do well in the gaming market? Yes they prolly can but we have yet to see ANYTHING worth MENTIONING from them unless u think angry birds is a killer IP lol.

I dont know how MS is going to do with the nextbox but u can almost be GUARANTEED that xbl will always be a paid service because ALOT of MS money comes from xbl. MS are the masters of disguising & manipulating gamers into buying the 360 with timed exclusives that will say, "Only On Xbox" or exclusive dlc which comes on the 360 1st before other consoles for KNOWN 3rd party games. I think the wii u wont be as successful as the wii but i think it will still do very well. The early lacking numbers is just due to the cost & not enough software to make it take off sales wise. I think this will all change as the system becomes cheaper & alot more software is available down the line.
Im guessing this will be out in 2021 maybe since ff versus aint out yet?
