Exactly, I mean it doesnt take a genius to know where ms is MAIN FOCUS is & in a business point of view I totally understand but to IGNORE the core base is sad & is honestly why im not EXCITED about the nextbox as much as I am with the ps4. Come on ms give us core base something to be excited about your nextbox with all the money u guys have it shouldnt be hard.

Exactly, alot of ppl dont understand that Home was actually pretty cool. To me it felt like facebook in a virtual world. I can see why alot of casual ppl liked it was because u can do so many things in home that could keep u busy for hours. If anything home would have been perfect on the ps4 because the lack of memory on the ps3 but was still a great social idea by sony. I think they should continue it, I bet it will be even better on the ps4 if they decide to have it.
Its up to the devs if they want to push those certain areas to the limit even with the ps3 u see how great the AI is in killzone & now u see how naughty dog has pushed it even further with the last of us. It will only IMPROVE with the ps4 & nextbox & of course pc but its the 1st party studios who will push it to its limits.
The ps3 still has life left so i expect it will be around for another 2 or 3 years since sony continues to support it. The 360 looks like its on its way out with ms not bringing any new ip's for its core audience but may continue supporting kinect games for it & let most 3rd party games keep its core base happy while they focus on its nextbox & kinect. I think its safe to say that ms is going to focus mostly on kinect even next gen & dish out the usual with a few new ip's ...
They deserve the praise. This is what happens when u give devs freedom to be creative with game ideas. Something sony does better then any other company. This why u will get to experience these type of games but in order for them to succeed u need a platform & publisher who isnt scared to take RISKS on these kind of IP's. Thats why I love about sony. They arent afraid of taking risks on new ip's. Nintendo use to be the same way until they went mostly casual with the wii.
Square Enix will continue to go down hill because of this. They already ruined the FF Series & cant even create a new kingdom hearts game. These guys should just go creat mobile games since they hate listening to their fans lol. Company is a joke now.
I dont think its true but i also believe if sony did ship that many, they can sell them all pretty fast if the price is right. Ppl said the ps3 would NEVER catch the 360 after the year late launch of the ps3 & look where the ps3 is now. Ps3 will eventually catch the wii aswell when the price drops to $199 and surpass it in a few years.
Wow a 5.5 out of 10 is hard to believe. Just with the campaign mode alone because the love for the manga is worth the purchase.
Last time I checked new IP's were a good thing for the gaming industry, if it wasnt we would be stuck with the SAME games all the time & the gaming industry wouldnt be what it is today.
Sony has learnt the hard way with the ps3 that the small percentage of ps3's sold with BC for $599 was not as successful at all as they thought it would be. So I dont see why they should put it there if its just going to HURT them. From a business stance point its not worth it & besides that your not FORCED to buy a ps4 if your looking to play ps3 games. Simple method is dont buy a ps4 & stick with the ps3.

Your also assuming that GTA will get more nominees then the last of us when we also dont know or the next GTA will be any good or not. I think the GTA series has gone pretty stale since san andreas but thats just me. If there is any dev that can go toe to toe with rockstar, its naughty dog. Besides all the perfect 10's the last GTA got were all overhyped reviews & GTA didnt even win GOTY that year despite being the highest rated game that year lol.
All I know is sony's E3 show will be 10 times better then the unvieling of the ps4 because release date, more games, & hands on demos & a price. Im really excited to see what Naughty Dog & Santa Monica are working on for the ps4. Cant wait.

I think that they meant unveil. They wont launch the nextbox this week but I would not be surprised if they launch it in the summer after e3 that way ms has a head start over sony. I just cant see ms launching around the same time sony does or they'll get behind.
I really think exclusive content is overrated but we see ms do it alot aswell so i guess sony has to do it aswell to keep its fan base happy. Still sucks for those who love these franchises & get screwed out of extra content but guess thats why its also good to own all systems that way u dont get screwed.
You know this game is going to be amazing when u see Kojima impressed. I cant wait, this game will be spectacular.
I hope he still has some cool cutscenes that tell the story & doesnt listen to stupid reviewers saying they dont want to watch a movie. I loved mgs4 and it is still one of my favorite games this gen. Dont change something that aint broken just because a few reviews.
Edit: Nyxus totally agree. If anything just add to his CQC & have sum new stealth ways to kill your enemy. Thats all id want & maybe sum new type weapons & gadgets.
