it's not low expectation, it's realism. Sony never ever thought it would be the second coming -- PS fanboys did, and MS fanboys gloated like little children.
the PSPgo was intended to inflate PSP numbers (and it has)
and it was designed to introduce more people to PSN (which it has)
a very simple strategy and one that will reap reward for a long long time

16 months lead in Europe actually, and PS3 is now officially in the lead there. MS and MS fans used the 'others' on VG chartz to suggest they were in the lead there, when in actual fact those 'others' were Australia and other regions not European. now the PS3 has the lead over all the 'others' but they had lead in Europe for around 5 months now
