but would you maybe give a game you overlooked a try if you gained stuff for HOME? that'll be a market aimed at the likes of you. others will actually enjoy buying stuff for their apartments and clothes for their avatars. HOME is in its infancy, once status makes its appearance, you watch it change dramatically
at the moment the purchasable stuff is mainly cosmetic, like clothes and furniture, but over time that purchasable stuff will be more diverse. you will be able to buy pool tables, arcade machines, chess tables, other board games, dart and other working toys and pets for your apparent. those will generate more interest. then you'll have free stuff that is earned through buying a certain game.
why is it always ignored that Live has 14 million users in 7 years and PSN has 15 million users in 2 years? funny there hasn't been any articles on that fact
sheep tend to flock to the same patch of grass... that makes that patch look very popular. but PS3 owners need a compass and a map just to keep up with the landscape available...

once people play then create, they will eventually start to wonder what this whole share thing is. they may get online and download a level or two. they'll see the MGS content and play it (yes even though you don't have the pack you can still play levels built with it) they'll wonder why they haven't got that content... they may use their own initiative and check PSN or they may ask friends with the game or in the know and find out that way... this thing is going to spiral out of control even...

that there is a snapshot of the net in general at the moment. it's a pity we can't be beside these people when it all falls into place. i would love to see the tantrums and the tears and the shaking fists in frustration... and perhaps (it's an outside chance) shame
you have got to be kidding me?! i just don't understand how 360 owners keep supporting MS like this... what the hell are they thinking? come on fellas, by all means have two consoles, but you get charged for changing your ID! you get charged for online! you get changed for Netflix and rentals! you even get charged for nearly all of your wallpapers and themes (although PSN has started doing that too) by the way, can 360 owners go to free sites and download free themes? i go to one with over 60...
i wouldn't call people doubters, i prefer short sighted. in a year all will be forgotten and HOME will be on everyones lips... and so will LBP, KZ2, Uncharted2, GOW3 and Infamous... oh well, great times ahead, especially if your lucky enough to have bought a console with a HDD

what?! sure, there has been absolutely nothing negative said about the PS3 in the last three weeks. the difference is that this is legitimate
it's about value though. the HD-DVD was only an add on. while we all know what else the PS3 can do
$50 a year + broadband a month + netflix subscription for SD = one ridiculous argument trying to take the sting out of the fact that 360 doesn't play Blu-ray.

people just ignore PP for gods sake. there's clearly something wrong with him. haven't any of you received the PM from the mods telling you just that? for all we know he may have serious problems at home and feels the need to rid himself of them here. so lets just ignore him
