This article screams of Naughty Dog fanboyism. Gamespot don't have to try and be different to elect Demon's Souls GOTY. It's a genuinely awsome game and when it comes down to it it's all about personal preference.
DS is a game for people who have played games for a long time and want something different and challenging. Uncharted 2 is for anyone that wants a blockbuster action title. Hell Arkham Asylum did that, too.

Good thing I didn't give Activision a single penny for it. Still, it was a 100% legal transaction. Yep, I bought a used PC game in a store even though that's the same as pirating. I hate Activision THAT much.
The multiplayer demo is hella fun. It's great to have a mode that isn't Team Deathmatch as standard.
Also, I gave the game a good 30 minute chance then I was hooked. 6 hours and counting.
I'm enjoying it more than I did gears of War 2 but that isn't saying much.

Without knowing much about the case already I can tell that this cop was a petty man and probably a bad policeman. Judging from the fact that black people are disproportionately stopped at "random" by the police I feel entitled to a little bit of prejudice the other way.

Though I do hope they have a good stab at another Halo RTS, this time on the PC. Tbh the units are some of the best looking in any RTS game, beats the hell out of the boring ass Terran Marines.

The only thing that unifies gamers is a shared hobby and the fact we ocassionally need oxygen.
If not for RRoD and a one year head start the PS3 would have overtaken 360 in worldwide sales.
There's room enough for both in any gamer's home. Maybe not for the 360 if you have a decent gaming PC, but even then if you have the money it's still better than a wii.
...but that's a big 'if'. Clearly the community is there and ready to mod even a completely broken game. Rockstar are foolish for rushing the PC version.
Anyone remember GTA SA or VC? If you played them on the PC you might have tried some of the mods. Best modding community ever, quite possibly.
This may not be such a problem when matchmaking is involved but on a lot of PC games when you have to hop on to some random guy's server and sometimes it happens to be run by a clan.
You will find fewer detestable people in your lifetime than you will find on these servers. They are the internet equivilant of: "Hey, buddy. What you doin' on my patch of turf?!"
