I agree. I’ll never forget the “WOW” factor HZD left me in, on first impressions when booting up the game, seeing the world, exploring its many areas, the vastness of it all, and the intense and fun, great combat that was on offer.
Yet, HFW, to me, really took all that and improved upon it (in areas that Zero Dawn lacked) which wasn’t too much, and was just an overall even more visually stunning, more fun game to play, because of the improvements to gameplay/combat, along ...
Bloody hell…I, I, I like pizza!😄😂
And yeah, the points about it being Sammy/feeling that way doesn’t bother me, I saw that from the earlier little bits of gameplay, and just expected SSM to polish, improve and add on top of that, and they have, which I think is great.
Please give a source (such as Cory or someone from the team at SSM) having said this was meant to be “DLC” because you agreeing with this reviewer who says such a thing, along with some others is just ridiculous.
Many said the same thing about HZ: Forbidden West, that it was meant to be DLC, which it was NOT meant to be whatsoever. Buddy, but if it would have been, that was some of the absolute best DLC I’ve ever played! Heck, better than many fully fleshed out games, with...
The Quarry was a blast, I really loved it! Although less interactive compared to the likes of Until Dawn, the characters, story, visuals, and the gameplay that was on offer give a fantastic experience overall!
I still can’t help but laugh when I see your name lol. Not making fun of you, it’s just different.
Was HOA’s that good to you? I didn’t like the first Dark Pictures game all that much.
While I enjoyed Max and Chloe in the first season of Life is Strange, season 2 with Sean and Daniel was far superior in my opinion. The writing, performances (although all the 3 different iterations have had great writing and amazing performances) season 2 was by far the strongest, in all areas, to me. Well, minus the lip syncing, which True colors just nailed it so well! But yeah.
Exactly. Rift Apart is a visual Next Generation stunner, along with gameplay displaying (showcasing the rifts) that really had me shocked and engrossed in the combat and visuals and experience all the more. The game really sets the bar and stage for what we can expect.
I couldn’t agree more, Sully! Nobody should sleep on this thing, it’s going to really shock gamers. Just the previews alone had me so overjoyed and hyped. This is a high quality VR package gamers will receive.
Price isn’t an issue for me, personally. I wasn’t expecting anything below $500 (I almost put $5,000 on accident😅🤦 7996;♂️ 7996;♂️but yeah.
This was an intriguing and exciting read! Here’s hoping this Ai system (which sounds really great) all culminates into a complete package that sells the experience of horror etc in an awesome an gruesome/gore filled way. The gameplay sounds so intense and fun.
So excited for this story and experience!
Yeah, I remember reading about that, so foolish of SE to say no. But, I mean, that whole idea that Cory had, the team at SSM (while I’m sure there was immense pressure to try and tackle such a thing as that) nailed it to perfection!
I’m with you, so glad he came back too, and has real creative freedom at the studio.
Awesome to hear.
It really does! Can’t wait. Yeah, excited for Karen in this. I loved her in Bullet Train. Awesome film!
Jin, remember, 🗡 at the ready! You’re allowed to use your blade, you’re Jin SAKAI, damnit😉 haha
Jokes aside, it’ll be here before we know it.
Oooh, so excited. It looks so freaking good! This game is gonna scare the shit outta me…it’ll be great lol!
Yeah, it sure does. A thing of beauty. Even more so when there’s gore involved haha.
A great read!
I have faith this team will deliver something simply great and true to the original, that fans, old, and new will really love the experience they’ve faithfully crafted, with the much appreciated enhancements😊
Yeah, those motorbike mechanics in general felt so darn good. Bend really nailed that to the T! I hated running outta gas or damaging my bike, but it was a nice mechanic and welcome challenge, having to be mindful and careful of what I was doing haha.
Yeah, I agree with you man. I like that you used The Order 1886 as an example, because as badly criticized as that game was (okay, the stealth in the mansion section😭😭 🤬😂 was just awful, a nightmare. As was the poor werewolf fights haha) the rest of the game
1. Story/characters - What a fresh setting, London. Gorgeous. Love these characters. Had some laughs, got upset, annoyed etc.
2. Graphics - Utterly gorgeous! This was the “Drak...
Strongly disagree with your opinion!
Days Gone (while rough around the edges in some areas) was a really good game, darn good! And Bend studios hadn’t made a console game in many years, and this was their first go/return to it👏🏼
There’s so much potential for a sequel, yes, because the groundwork has already been done, they did a lot of good
1. Likable characters/great audio across the board.
2. Solid story.
...
You go, Sully! I will not platinum this one, much like it’s predecessor lol.
