@LarZen
What you think of HL2 is true for YOU. HL2 being the most overrated game of all time on pc is true in your world, but that doesn't make it an universal fact. It is actually ok to not like it. You know what they say about opinions, but just because you didn't get it, doesn't mean that everyone else who gets it are somehow wrong in their opinion.
@deadlybrand
You can't compare those two. Even if Cage said that their new engine is for future generations, it is running on PS3 on that tech demo. It says "The following footage is a prototype running in real-time on Playstation 3" right in the beginning of the video.
The samaritan demo was running on PC, thus it is not fair to compare those two.
@ardivt
The difference is that they revamped their engine for this game, thus it is capable of producing better quality pictures, and the revamped engine was propably optimized specifically to handle large crowds.
Other than that, I'm with you on not hyping this before seeing some proper gameplay first.
We're playing as the umbrella guys in this right? This trailer makes me kinda want to play as the other team just so I could kick the umbrella soldiers' asses.
@bumnut
If I was asked whether I find any game characters attractive, I would say yes. That doesn't mean I jerk off to game characters, or prefer them to real, living women. Whether I need help or not is debateable, but not because I find some fictional game characters attractive.
I'm just saying, but you are entitled to your own opinion.
I used to make jokes about taking an arrow in the knee. Then I took an arrow in the knee.
But seriously, there is no game I want more than HL3, but after all this time, I just can't bring myself to get my hopes up anymore.
I too got this game with gtx 560 ti. Nice.
I know, right? Inception comes to mind immediately after hearing those low brass stabs.
The same goes for me too. Half-Life 2 is the game I play through once every year. There has been many great games since, but nothing has quite topped that half-Life 2 experience for me.
@ TravUK
I don't think thats really fair, seeing that RAGE was announced back in 2007, before Brink and New Vegas.
That said, I'm looking forward to this game.
I love Johnny Cash's version of Trent Reznor's "Hurt" and I love the way it is used here.
