I've always liked it when developers do stuff like this.
there was a lot that i wanted to add, but couldn't add with any good explanation. i didn't play some games, and didn't know how to explain why some weren't were worthy. i tried, know that, but couldn't.
well KZ3 did come out this year, so i would say its still relevant.
I might have come off a bit harsh, but what I was really trying to say is that they need to work on balancing these things out. All too often a person would earn enough points for a Starhawk, get in one, and then immediately be slaughtered, all that effort for nothing. Obviously this is because we were all just getting our hands on the game for the first time and didn't know what we were doing, but then again I suppose that's the whole point of writing an initial hands on impression. ...
yeah, this came out of nowhere and blew us away. never played the first one and wasn't expecting much, but as i watched the guy play the demo i was more and more impressed and now can't wait to get my hands on it.
I kinda hope they just stick with NGP.
huh... at first i was a doubter like all the above, but after watching that i think she might do ok. she at least has some talent and can pull off a decent voice. Still wish it was Arleen Sorkin thou.
I would have picked Metal Gear Solid over GTA, but hopefully well get to see HD remakes of all these titles someday.

good list. I'm also figuring that Insomniac will announce there multi-platform title. probably something other than a platformer or FPS, like a RPG or maybe even an mmo. think i herd some rumors about that a while back. should be cool.

I was going to wait until "The Agency" came out to finally try an MMO, but that unfortunately got canceled so it looks like DCU is my only choice. But... I think ill pass. someday they might make an MMO for me, but I don't think this is it. Good review.
Doesn't sound too promising, but god I hope its true. Battlefront is one of my favorite Star Wars titles.
wow Tom Clancy could be in the game! i wonder what his fatality would be, maybe to sit down and wright a bunch of books lol. I think you mean Sam Fisher, Tom Clancy is the author of Splinter Cell and all that stuff, probably not the best guy to put in a fighting game :P
I like the direction they are taking it, with a new protagonist (...or antagonist i suppose). already looking better than the first.

I was just thinking about this recently and i totally agree. Open beta's are partly why so many games are turning into COD clones. Rather than innovating and making there own game, developers are listening to people who are only used to playing fast paced twitch shooters.
dang I might have to pick this one up now. so many games and so little money...
