he would have had a hard time playing well while that was "going down". lulz
buying twitter followers? what about buying website hits? how about paying reviews for a high rating on a game? It's totally legal, and gives consumers a false sense of the power of a brand.
I believe it's on topic for the concerns of online consumers and very appropo.
Why not? COD is a cash cow. Activision has no debt and gold bullion in piles around the offices - well maybe not that, but they are well in the black every year.
As long as COD makes money they will continue to press a new one each year.
I totally agree. E3 is no longer where companies finally drop intel. They utilize online platforms to disperse the information directly to the public. I can't decide if I like that or not. :/
I curse that sawed off shottie! Ridiculous! Requires nerfing STAT!
I'd have to disagree. I enjoy hardcore games because I was an athlete growing up and am highly competitive. I picked it up in my mid 20's.
We are all gamers. Some of us just haven't found our game yet. ;)
Can't say a word about the SP - I think the last time I finished a SP story was COD2 or maybe Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. The MP is hella fun though and I am impressed with how fast they added servers for the Big Team Battles.
If Brett had a hawt younger sister... yep. It's all that luxurious blonde hair. ;)
AMEN! Blows my mind that they are thinking about a movie when the game isn't out yet.
Very happy that they are keeping the controls similar to previous installments. Takes a lot out of the learning curve. :)
I'm stoked about this! I adored the first game, and felt it was a good choice for a sequel. So many unanswered questions.
Wicked sweet prizes! Thanks for being legit N4G. Word. :)
That was my take on it as well. Simple research to determine how much the majority of XBL users are limited by their personal bandwidth allowances.
COD - BFBC - Gears - Basically everything but Halo. lol
Mine also came in that order.
I'm hazarding a HUGE guess here, but I believe EPIC is adding a Kinect style Co-Op (ala Harry Potter) mini story. They have the time to add it, and I've heard murmurs of it's potential.
That being said, I don't see Kinect having any place with traditional FPS & 3PS unless they use a floating hud with C&C or Endwar style commanding of troops. The aforementioned Harry Potter co-op addon was awful and only showcased the restrictions a shooter would hav...
As a gaming parent of two budding gamers I can agree with this article. However, I'd like to add another point that is very important:
Parents need to know and UNDERSTAND what their kids are doing on line and in game.
@MARKUS_MAX1MUS - well said! I play every game to the end before my kids get to. I make informed choices that go well beyond ESRB ratings (which are largely ignored) and online reviews.
@B1663r - There's nothing like a...
the little symbols are awesome! I'd love a tshirt with a few of them strung together. Especially the purple mask and the iron fist!
Quagmire is right - the change shocked me. I fully expected it to be similar to Awakenings. They worked very hard on this game, and kudos to them.
It does. They sound is full, dynamic and incredible. I tried them myself at E3 and was really impressed.
