Well, 500G can store 10 50G games
I normally just play 1~2 games at a time, so my HDD just have maybe 5~6 games plus some indies,
one new game come, one old game out of my HDD, as long as I have the disc, I don't have to worry can't get back the game.
so I never need to worry about space.
Of course, you're right it's good to have the viability to connect external HDD, yet my premise of statement is not to spend any more money on HDD.
buy digital content as little as possible, my games mostly are disc based, you need space? remove the old game, and if some time you wan to play it again, get the disc and play.
How I counter season pass is to wait all the contents are out, and check the reviews & youtube, then decide whether I'm going to get them all, if I'm, I will buy season pass, if I am not, I just buy them separately, sometimes, it's cheaper.
