I've done a lot in my short time alive but cocaine is not on my list!

It's not really an excuse as much as it is reality. As someone who has been playing video games since the SNES, I personally want to take in as many games as possible. Considering micro transactions tend to be out of the way and as well as nonmandatory to finish the game or see everything, it's an alternative rather than a cut off. I'm sorry you see this as harmful, and I'm also sorry if my article has offended you in any way.
Stay awesome
~Camero...
You're this week's me. Congrats!
As long as you are happy with yourself, you can be anything you want!

The irony is killing me, but I still love you

I agree! In no way do I write off the developer at all. Naught Dog makes amazing games that really just dont fit into my personal taste. Honestly I wish I could love all their titles but my interests dont line up unfortunately. Though Im glad you find joy in their games!

@BlackTar187 I cannot personally confirm it, no. But I personally make no money. I write because I want to express my opinions about various games, trends, and developers, not because I have a monetary incentive to keep pushing articles out on a weekly basis. This week, with relevancy to Uncharted 4, I wanted to write about Naughty Dog as a developer and my general indifference towards them. Maybe one day I will make money writing articles in tune of something like what I am now, but for now ...
Though the mechanics are not as solid, and the execution is a bit more sloppy, I appreciate the thought put behind the world and gameplay, they were unique and had a very original identity. Jak and Daxter, while still a very good game, felt a bit in the tune of other games of the time especially with the environments and combat. Plus I have a general affinity for cute things. They are two different beasts entirely but Billy Hatcher does try to do something a bit different, and it does fail in...
I didn't write this as a one and done sort of deal that I can throw here and forget about, this article expresses my opinion without being a wave of utter hatred. I actually do enjoy some of their titles, just not as much as others. Sincerely, I apologize if my article has offended you in any way, but I would suggest taking the time to read it, maybe you might find something you agree with or want to refute. Either way, I hope you have a great day!

Thank you for the support. I greatly appreciate it!

Fun fact: I gain no revenue from this article. Though you may not like my article, I still fully support checking out the other writers on the site. They all equally put forth time and effort to create pieces that do provide worthwhile opinions and insight in some cases. I apologize you didn't like the article, but I hope the rest of your day is better!

Actually, in the article I say they make really good games. I would never deny the fact that they are a great developer, it's just that my personal tastes don't line up. Im sorry we disagree, but I hope you enjoy the article in some form!

I genuinely hope you guys enjoy it, and I apologize in advance for the click-baity type title. Though we may not share opinions, I still value every post here and will try to respond to as many of them as I can (N4G does have a response limit). Please take the time to read through it, because I promise this is not a hate filled article. Can't wait to hear what you guys have to say, negative or positive. Stay awesome, I love you all!

You do as you like, as for us we are running and maintaining a site. The writer of the article (who, in fact, is not me) wanted to write about the demo, and thought this was the most concise way to do so. If you do not like the article, that is fine, but there is no way to know what you actually think about the piece until you actually read it, and until that point there is nothing of value you can give in terms of thought or criticism. We are still putting our thoughts out there, whether it ...
Tec demos are just as valid of an experience as anything else, they provide the player with content. If you honestly believe that people shouldn't write about it, give reasons why instead of using blanket statements and negativity. Writers cannot grow without some sort of criticism and by throwing off the article so quickly by deeming it 'clickbait' you're not being fair to the writer. Read through it and say how to make it less of a 'clickbait' piece, give your opinio...
That's not very useful criticism.
I personally really liked the way in which the developers thought about using the controller in a different fashion than the norm, hence the turn on it's side to emulate the spray can effect. It is fairly simple, granted, but I really enjoyed it. I do apologize if you weren't happy with the selection.

I had put in a fore-note saying that I didn't really want to add in entries that were initially made for other consoles like Heavy Rain, Tearaway, Flower, etc, BUT my editor removed it for some reason...don't know why. Though you are most certainly right, Tearaway uses the controller amazingly though those controls are were very much ported from the Vita's setup. The only reason I included Metro Redux was because I didn't want to solely focus on just Thief for that entry.
The alternative is the Telltale route and you have to wait months for the next episode that will take you an hour and a half to beat. Not to be rude but if a game is cut up to be episodic, I much prefer that over the former.
See the beauty comes in when games offer free dlc because of their inclusion of micro transactions. You still get all the extra content and you never need to spend a dime if you don't want to!
