Game Pass is great, but you don't 'top' Nintendo's lineup by not even trying.
Microsoft can't keep relying on other companies for this. They need a studio that can provide family friendly games.
I'll believe it when I see it.
The current games under contract? Sure. Future games? I'd be shocked if you see the system sellers on anything else.
Of course it's intentional... They knew months ago they would be releasing those games on PS4 and chose not to say anything while letting Microsoft take tons of negative coverage over "their" cross-gen plans and how it was holding games back.
I mean people used Spider-Man Miles Morales and Horizon as showcases for what NON-cross-gen games could look like... They had every opportunity to reveal it, but why would they until the last minute?
They were getting criticized for that LONG before Halo was shown off.
How can it possibly be made for PS5 and work on PS4 - if that couldn't work for Xbox Series and Xbox One games?
Great job approving this with the scoring error everyone. 4.5/6? It's 4.5/5.
It's because it's a 360 game and they had to have a payment attached to it. You can use a PayPal account instead, even one without a funding source.
I thought the game was ok, clunky but ok. Every time I go back to play it though it takes 20 minutes for the controls to 'click' again. Pity most of the advanced combos and controls aren't listed anywhere in the game.
The show is an hour, the pre-show and post-show pads the length.
VGChartz numbers used to be considered a joke, with little to no factual basis behind them. Has that changed?
I mean I remember the days when they'd have a game selling X million copies one day, then the company would announce numbers a week later and they'd just change their totals to match it. Has that changed?
Spider-Man on PS4 released just over a year ago...the Game of the Year version with all DLC is on sale for $15.
Games go on sale. Even good ones.
Just not Nintendo ones. Their Black Friday deal is $20 off two year old games that are still at full price.
There's hoverboards and magic internet...why is a dude carrying all this crap? Why doesn't he have access to a truck or at least an exoskeleton at the start? Oh right...gotta 'suffer' first.
GiantBomb just gave it the exact same score, more or less the same reasoning. Must be clickbait, huh?
That's kind of the point...if a game isn't for you and you don't like it, why would you give it a good score?
The whole point of reviewing is to let people know what you think, not what they'll think. If your tastes align with theirs, something they can see by looking at other games you've reviewed that they've played, then they can trust your opinion on this game. If they like games you don't, they'll probably go read reviews by someone who ...
Great idea, you should only have people who like [X] game review [X] game so there will never be bad scores again.
There's a huge difference between having cutscenes and having movies in your game. A cutscene that's long enough you can run to the store and be back before you get to play again isn't normal.
Because it doesn't agree with their ideas about how good a game they haven't played is.
I don't mind world-building, but not when it's in cutscene after cutscene. If you want to make a movie, just go make movies.
Ok "MetalGearAlex"
Never played Fallout 76, but Mass Effect Andromeda - while it did have a slew of glitches when it launched - also has mission and gameplay variety and a story that makes sense.
GameStop may regret putting Death Stranding in their 'Guaranteed to Love It' program.
Oh for sure it's 'family friendly' in that you can get a huge number of games, but the point is Microsoft doesn't have studios making family friendly games - like games more targeted at kids. They have studios like Rare that excelled in that in the past, but don't do it anymore.
They need a family friendly studio and a fighting game studio and they're pretty much set.
