You know, I think Lighting does have a point that everyone is a bit pedo. It's not about acting on ur urges, it's about getting aroused. Dropping 50% in sales in 2 weeks after the elite, halo3, and PGR4 came out is clearly not a good sign. The fact is that it is not building momentum in Japan...even Loss Oddyessy may bump its sales up to 5000 for 1 or 2 weeks I believe.
FF is not the holy grail really, 360 fans should go play more jrpg..instead of making ff comparsion every time a discussion like this pops up.
You didn't factor in how the 360 was out 1 year earlier than the ps3, so the sales gap is signifcant on the basis that the ps3 has outsold the 360 in Japan in just a few months.

The ps3 is still selling selling around 17000 on a weekly basis, just 7000 less than the wii last week. I wouldn't say this has a significant impact on the ps3 sales really. And if selling 17000 weekly is considered doomed..then what makes the 360?
