Everyone wins except non gamers like ps3 fans and wii owners. PS3 fans for some reason cry and commit suicides everytime a game goes multy and wii versions never get planed anyway.

Nah, he did good. Considering he didnt make an awkwardly bad RROD joke and actually tried something original (it made zero sense but at least he tried), for a shellshocked sony joke character he is quite a breakthrough. Socially he will probably never be functional but like I said, for a sony fanboy he is doing pretty good.
Just end gears as a trilogy. Seeing how broken and embarrassingly lame MGS4 was its better to end a great franchise on a high note.
As for MS upstaging sony I really dont see that as an achievement. They have been upstaging sony for the last 2 years even @ events where they didnt bother showing up. Sony set the bar for conventions so low the last Leipzig and TGS that I wouldnt be surprised seeing sega upstaging the struggling wapanese giant.

Yeah I played the demo. Really mediocre. Undoubtedly one of the most overhyped games in history right up there with mgs4 and halo3. They should have payed for FFXIII instead of wasting so much on this.
