In the beginning - Halo CE - the story was the focus for obvious reasons. Since then the story in the Halo universe has been a roller coaster. I was hoping that this new iteration would have been a strong story to go in conjunction with its tried-and-true multiplayer formula.
Nonetheless, I will be playing through the story mode with optimism. Hopefully my experience, and how I perceive it, will be better than others...
For user reviews, it takes simple common sense to filter through the bias. As for critic reviews, I have found it easy to be duped by a trusted reviewer; and later to find out they received bonus stuff for their review.
Dislike my optimism all you want, I'm just saying it's not a bad way to perceive new products / games.
Yes... But I'll be phenomenally more interested once user reviews, NOT cash-under-the-table critics' reviews, start showing up.
OMG! The main menu?!? OMFG!!! The... The... Main Menue?!?!??!?
It's okay... I'm cool... I'm good. WHEW!
Careful! You're treading on broken eggshells.
That should get her on the front cover of Trailer Park Trash Gone Wild magazine... :/
MS's VR??? Oh wait... You mean Oculus?
Just Google the price. It'll be written in bold letters at the top of your web page.
Okaaaaaaay... Though I haven't voted Agree or Disagree yet, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that most people's eyes glazed over from all that INT-ECON101 jargon; thus the Disagrees.
$550?!?
The Dreamcast losing so horribly is what made me so bitter to this date towards the winner of that generation.
That means there won't be a Day-1 Patch, doesn't it?
Yeah... I'm not holding my breath.
I honestly think it's the MMOs - like WoW and EQ - and Free-To-Play games with microtransactions that created this problem. As long as this method of getting money from consumers remains popular, developers and publishers (who loosely follow this scheme) will rely on "stupid people" to inflate their profits.
"He was also asked why the the game was put on a DVD copy as opposed to a Blu-Ray disc but he said the disc simply didn’t have enough of an install base to warrant that move."
Yup...
"All versions will look and play great..."
Shhhhhh! Don't tell the sheep that!
It's a gimmick... A peripheral for a closed niche... And I'm going to be getting one as soon as the consumer version is released!!!
There will REALLY be a day - hopefully in our life-time - when games will require such massive amounts of space.
I'm a little giddy just trying to imagine the graphical detail that would go along with such requirements.
^^^^
See what I mean?!? You guys are so cute...
However, even during the heyday of LoT, this was still a predominately Sony fanboy site.
And you are correct, both camps are bad to each other. However, the side with the most numbers wins.
Well, if that's what it's going to look and play like; expect less than stellar reviews.
It's sad. It's pathetic. But that's what Sony Sheep do. Their excuse is that Xbots were talking bad about them a while ago for one or two simple-minded things and that gives them the right to continue this childish and malicious form of fanboyism. Don't attempt to understand it. Don't attempt to fight or protest against it. This where they congregate and troll in ridiculous numbers. If this article hadn't already moved on and was still in the Hottest News section, I...
Yup...
Hannibal Lecter, Candyman, Norman Bates, Pennywise, Jack Torrence, Leatherface, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, and many MANY more.
