No, we won't see Blu-ray on the next-gen non-Sony consoles, because it doesn't have the read speed that MS nor Nintendo wants. However, it's a serious debate, slower speeds vs disc swapping.
Yawn... Divine Souls is just like any other Korean art-style MMO with a horrible grind and atrocious real money market. If you're looking for something new, don't look at this one too much. The fighting system is basic and the skill tree is even more basic.

I going to assume that they aren't going to use Blu-Ray because of it's read speed. Especially since they're going to limit their HDD so much. If their disc technology is able to get comparable read speeds to DVD, they should be safe.
Speaking of their HDD, hopefully they'll make it upgradeable.
