people say the game is a breath of fresh air, I'm like a whimped out breath of fresh air.. the games story has no meaning and the crimes have no meaning towards a main story.. the mechanics get repetative.. if the game didn't rely on mechanics it would be fresh.. but its not. facial technology alone doesn't make a good game.

I just hope he still makes his anticipated E3 appearence at the sony conference for his new NGP/PS3 tittle.. and if he planned on remaking peace walker that would be a waste of a year anyway.. why would you remake a game that just launched a year ago..
it could be the psn downtime during E3 which would ruin his NGP/PS3 game showing.. or the fact the new nintendo stream console is doing something similar to this.
Heavy rain in my opinion is the best graphical game in terms of pure detail in the eye's, faces environments. La noire has better facial anaimation but the graphics and level od detail are way behind heavy rains
they need new franchises, they been spinning off mario and zelda since the 80's.. They need fresh IP's for this new console

personally I think this is a risky move from nintendo, It looks like they're trying to compete with sony and microsoft on a hardcore level, but a mario in better graphics isnt going to beat uncharted 3 or last guardian or even a gears 3.
I think quantic dream got new better tech their gunna show at e3. I think this is the company that will truly shape cinematic games in the future.
Heavy rain achives emotion in the player. L.A noire dosnt. For that alone it's not as good. In the interrogations there's choice but no consequence. It's been explained time and time again, you can't make great story's off gameplay mechanics , and that's what l.a noire relys on. Heavy rain has a language which can be used for anything and any story.
The game isn't a game changer, the GTA gameplay elements stump the games story. There's no choice and consequence.
After playing heavy rain l.a noire is still leaps behind in storytelling and variety.
The facial capture is a technology changer though.
this game is nowhere near the storytelling level that heavy rain possess'. Ive played it for 3 hours now and there isn't enough variety.
Drving, heading back to the station and doing interigations.. these are the mechanics of L.A Noire. This is a game i might not even complete.

Ill give my first impression 40mins in.. this game is NOT as good as heavy rain.. The emotion isn't there, it's got a similar feel to grand theft auto, which is not good in my opinion.. it's not as revolunary as i thought, and the lighting/mood/graphics aint good as heavy rains. is doesn't have enough variety so far. i'm gunna try and complete it tomoro but if your expecting an entirely new fresh game experience like heavy rain you might be let down. Heavy rain is 10 steps in the right direction and jim sterlings review was awfull, that guy aint ready for new inovations and ideas.. he'd rather play an action game like transformers.
this game was great, and this will sell alot but i wish nintendo would make something new for once and not bring back franchises from the past.. do nintendo fans not want new franchises? zelda remake, metroid remake, mario no. 38?, starfox.. instead of those imagine a NEW 3DS franchise..
First off I dont wanna see an MGS5 game, that franchise finished with mgs4.

- david cage of quantic dream shows new game and tech.
- Mm will show how PS move works with LBP2
- New great move game (sports champions 2?)
- uncharted 3 in 3D live demo
- last guardian release date and game-play demo.

Also why a remake? you'd have to be stupid to create an old experience in new graphics.. he's more than likey using his time to push industry forward.
It saddens me that people are happy about another MGS game.. I loved MGS growing up but its time for kojima to move on and re-light our imaginations with a new franchise. He's spent 30 years on MGS games.. imagine all the different & new concepts he could have done in that time.. MGS4 for me was the final one.
"everyone will be happy".. see that's the point , A great game is one that doesn't aim to please everyone. it just goes with its own ambitions & risks. Most gamers dont realise the best creations are original and unrelated at first sight.
i think quantic dream got heavy rain bang on.. they seem to have figured out how to trigger players emotions.. wether that is the contextual actions or the music, or the story, character personalitys, unique enviroments.. i wish more games were fresh
