I've never understood this concept clearly. Why release a demo after the full game has been on the shelves for months?
Are they trying to get people that never gave it a shot before a chance to try it hoping they'll buy?
If so then why not just start off with the demo? Is it a marketing strategy to bring back attention to a game without having to add or change anything about the game or did they fear that releasing the demo early would actually deter some from buying...

This game could come with a warning label that says THIS GAME WILL BREAK YOUR CONSOLE and 10 million PS3 owners would still buy it within the first 6 months as always

Lol talk about milking that cow. This gen we've had Gow 1&2 HD, GoW 3, Ghost of Sparta and Chains of Olympus. Now this will make it 5 games this gen.
When Halo does it its milking. But when Gow is concerned it is the awesomest.

EA are KILLING this year with top notch releases. Mass Effect 2, Dead Space 2, Dragon Age 2, Crysis 2, Fight Night, Bulletstorm and now coming up Shift 2.
