Hey everyone! So the point I'm going for here isn't that prices are too high, or too low - it's got nothing to do with *how much* we're paying for games, but the actual way in which we pay for and price them: money up front, free-to-play, subscriptions, and so on.
If you think that sounds like baloney, give the article a read over and tell me your thoughts then :) I'll do my best to keep up with the debate in the comments.
I actually make that very point in the article: games, adjusted for inflation in particular, have indeed got cheaper over time. I've got no issue with how much we're paying for games - it's with the ways in which we pay them, like up front lump sums or £40/$60 vs subscriptions or F2P, that I've got my beef :)
