Gears 2 shames MGS in the ingame gfx department. The G2 textures are a gen ahead. The only thing that MGS4 has on gears is the character mdls. The cutscenes are a whole different story but as GT pointed out MGSs story (cutscenes) is irrelevant ( so so so BAD).
